Hello,

I was just wondering the process to start an application to emigrate to Canada. I’m asking for my sister, her husband is a bank manager at Access bank and she is a fashion designer. I will appreciate any help. Many thanks.

Nigerians don't know this part. It is not that she is particularly banned but it is a provision to discourage marriage of convenience. Once you were sponsored, you divorce, and wanna bring in someone whether you marry the person with 1million dollars and even have a child, you must wait for the stipulated years to sponsor or be sponsored. However, if you want to marry within Canada, same day of divorce is finalized is possible.

So if you're newly married and your spouse is a non Canadian, you have to wait 5 years to sponsor them? Hmmm. Haven't read this before oh but I will check

I think comprehension or lack of is the problem here. While checking, meanings of sponsor and sponsored with regards to Canadian immigration are needed.

you are the one missing the point. According to the guy his fiancée was sponsored meaning she got married and was sponsored by spouse. Now she is obviously divorced and wants to marry the guy in question. This is not allowed for a certain number of years so as to discourage arrangee marriages. E.g you use marriage to come to canada, get pr and divorce, then go bring your real boo from nigeria.

I went back to check and saw that. I thought she had gotten in through EE and people were now arguing that she couldn't sponsor her fiancee. Makes sense

Hello
It’s easy to generate your trf number even before getting your result from BC.
It’s always in this sequence
The last two number of the year you wrote it, then followed by NG then your candidate number (pls
Note if your candidate number is less 4 numbers you add 2 zeros in front of it followed by the first 3 letters of your surname and the first Letter of your first name and then 150G.
E.g
Let’s say a Jacob Adams wrote his IELTS this year with candidate number 1223.
The trf number would be
20NG001223JACA150G. Now compare your previous result with what I’ve explained and you would underhand it properly.
Hope this helps

The 150G is the Exam center number so you should check your center number and fill as appropriate

Please, anyone here that have used opentuition study materials for Acca should tell me process of downloading it.
I wanted to download the study material from it website and I was told to create an account before I could do that.
I've tried to create an account severally, but I couldn't.
Create an account on opentuition. Copy the youtube video lectures in their website. Then download the videos on YouTube.

Does it look like there will be a draw tonight? This month has 5 Wednesdays and they might not want to conduct 2 all program draws. Then again, one cannot predict what will happen.

The range of 471-1200=6105

6105 - 4200 ITAs = 1905

1905 people left in the range of 471-474.

Another general draw in 2 weeks will be a blessing for people in 470- 474.

Let’s hope they keep doing general draw.

Hi everyone,

Any advice on what to do to boost my scores from 472 to above 475. I have been in the pool since April and it's quite tiring waiting. It doesn't seem the scores will drop anytime soon and need to do something fast to boost my scores.

Any recommendations?

Bcs and Acca people are gearing up to update their crs once WES is out.

I wouldn't expect a general draw until last week in September.

Did you take into consideration the people who would join the pool within the next two weeks?

The tie breaker today was August 16, so it doesn't exactly work as you have calculated because the person whose scores is higher than the cutoffs, who submitted minutes before the draw will be selected for an ITA.

Those months general draws were not done have significantly affected the cutoffs, making it unpredictable.

It's safe to say, 470 isn't the new norm anymore.
