In the spirit of being controversial, I think even when the ECA says Bachelors and people's applications are rejected or marked as review required they are usually reopened and resolved because the IRCC website actually says a Bachelor in Law is equivalent to a professional degree i.e. 126 CRS points.

Not that I'm advising that people shouldn't use IQAS but.......someone can try it out with an LOE attached and their screenshot....as in an experiment...i'd be very surprised that IRCC will go against their own written document.

If you want to avoid stress, use IQAS to evaluate LLB as a Master’s degree. If you want your file to be bounced around, rejected and probably or not resolved, use WES and claim Master’s degree equivalency.

This is my husband's exact same situation. Really confusing? So who is lying now?

The thing is some times when WES updates your portal to say it has been sent to your institution for verification on your portal, that is not usually the case. The soft copy sometimes come in a week or two later. It what I know. But be patient it will come just tell them to keep checking the official University email they use for such verification.

Sorry....you attached it before, I missed it.

Ok. Understand the rationale for 1114 i.e. OINP

I don't think it will fly though but that's just my view, let's hear what others say. That part of 1114 looks like someone who actually plans and monitors clients' portfolios including setting financial goals & strategies for them.....couldn't see that from her JD. She could also show a trusted colleague the two NOCs and her JD for a different opinion.

Could she also redo IELTS to pick up extra 3 or 6 points if she is not at CLB10 already? If married, has spouse contributed 20 IELTS points and 8 first degree points?
She maxed out IELTS already and she is single.

Good morning guys.
Please would OND & BSC be evaluated as two or more degrees?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Zeus04: 2:37am On Sep 11, 2020
Guys,

This is for peeps with AOR at least 6 months ago and files in Accra, I just understand that AVO has started calling people on their applications and possibly issue PPR. 3 of my friends got phone calls today to ask them if they can travel before December 31st and when they responded yes, the office from AVO told them they will get feedback from AVO today on their PPR. Some others on an AVO whatsapp group confirmed that they got calls too. Not sure what the criteria is to receive the call but one of them said it may be because of medical expiration.

The 3rd person missed 2 calls from the same number and when he tried to called back, he couldn't reach them.

I am dropping this here for us all to be close to our phones this period and also check mails regularly as well.

It will end in praise.

Good to hear this. Very hopeful the PPRs from AVO will start filtering in today.

Let all AVOrians stay close to their phones.

Hi,

Ultra new member here (Although I've been a very active non-member). I really want to commend everyone for the good job they've been doing, most especially all those that take time off their busy schedules to answer questions.

I'm a bit confused on my NOC choice. Could someone be so kind as to help me with the best NOC to choose as my job description seems to fall under two NOC's.

My job duties are listed below:

1) Local purchase of items needed for running the company.
2) Maintained stock levels of all items
3) Sourced and maintained relationships with suppliers
4) Planned logistics schedule for suppliers.

Thank You

They are people who already got PPR before the lockdown. Most (if not all) of them already had their passports stuck either at VFS or AVO itself.

People waiting for PPR are not part of those they are calling.
