'Don't know to be honest. The way I read the IRCC instructions, we are required to provide certificates in our APRs, and I assume everyone gets one after their degree (is this me being naive?)....even if the ECA body may not require one to evaluate your degree. #MyUnderstanding.

Obviously, I can't argue with someone else's experience....... if they say they didn't submit a degree certificate to IRCC and still got their app approved, I don't have a come back to that.

As I said, let's agree to disagree.

Ps: I assumed the question wasn't rhetorical smiley
There is a customised document upload function unique to each applicant. For person A the required documents to be uploaded will be different from person B. When I submitted mine I did not submit my IELtS result. Two months later I wondered how I made such an error/omission but upon review I figured out that it was not part of the documents requested. I asked at a forum and almost everyone bashed me telling me how my application will be rejected as it was meant to be uploaded as part of the education section. I applied for gcms notes and it stated that case analyst /program assistant verified my scores on the language provider site. If in doubt call IRCC so you don’t get confused by some overzealous people here

You can say that again honestly. Our application was received Jan 2020 and then an address followed in aug. Its been a long wait. Everyone I know who has submitted an application is frustrated. Even those waiting for ITA. You can't touch your money, you can't do a whole lot of things because you never know when they'll start processing for outland again. Its as if your life is on hold. Ko easy at all waiting for this ppr.
Kindly exercise patience as there is not much you can do to speed things up. A reminder that life is not all rosy out there. A teaser of the quality of service delivery after paying CAD1400 + in application fees . No communication or feedback or updates . Some will say covid is the reason but I don’t buy that in 2021. Please don’t put your life on hold. Live your life like normal and when they are ready they’ll email you.

January 2020? Wow! That’s a long time……… you described it in a nutshell, it’s honestly like being in limbo, especially because of the inability to touch ur money or make long term commitments. Oh well no one could have predicted COVID, all we can do is take our minds off it and try to live in the moment. Hopefully they are using this time during which they’ve suspended FSW to catch up on backlog and fingers crossed that things go back to normal soon. 21st of July I’m hoping lol.
With the backlog from 2020 issuing out ITAs without clearing the outstandings will only add to the issues . At least they should consider those who are losing points due to age change

There are two options;

1. Use Barter by flutterwave virtual card (the rate is about #505/$)

2. Use a Firstbank virtual card — you can get it from your mobile app. The rate is much more friendly.

If you're having difficulty, I can help you pay at no extra cost.

Good morning, my people. Please I need your advice.

So I've paid for WES and ETX, and I'm trying to get my transcript from my school. It's almost ready for the ICT guys to send it.

Here's the issue...

My matric number on my certificate is missing a digit at the end. So instead of something like 12/345678 its 12/34567 on the certificate.

My name is clearly written correctly though.

I asked how to change it and the registry said it typically takes up to 3 months. embarassed I just tire.

So I'm wondering...

1. Would it cause issues with WES since certificate and transcript numbers are slightly different?

2. Would this be a red flag for IRCC?

3. Should I just wait through the 3 months to correct it before starting my evaluation?

4. Should I just proceed since it's just a very tiny mistake? I could get an affidavit if necessary?

some times it's gcms notes, i have seen where an officer says it's not reasonable for a brother to have given that gift deed, another lady's application was rejected cos the gift deed was from her boyfriend ( was appealed and later got PR), but would you like to be in that situation of being in limbo and confusion for like 2 months. So most times people are only trying to prevent issues. The way canada immigration works lots of judgments are involved, 4 people may submit applications at same time using brother for gift deed, and 3 are approved and one denied or put under review. You don't wanna be that person o

It can be denied if it's suspicious. I have heard of an application being rejected where part of the POF came from the Brother-in-law, the wife etc so it was kind of shady. True, lots of personal judgements are involved on the part of the officers.

But, speaking from facts that we can refer to (IRCC website), it does not state that POF is better from Parents.

Hi all,
I got an EOI from Ontario and I am trying to complete the application.
For this part: *intention to reside in Ontario* , must I state that I have a close relative or a friend who resides in Ontario?

Secondly, I have about 4 years exp in HR (from different employers and different specialization within HR) and the duties of my current role is more of is more NOC 1121 (and this is the current NOC onnmy EE profile) while my previous experiences are more of NOC 1223 - Will this be a problem.

P.S I have been in my current job for close to 2 years.
I assume you should be fine as long as you have up to 1 year experience in the primary noc, at least that's normal EE standard. Ontario would tell you on their website if they want otherwise. Btw, what's your crs score , how are y'all getting this EOI na.

Hello all. Greetings from here. I just began going through these threads today because I want to migrate to Canada, so I read through some threads here parts 1, 2 and 10 which i think is the latest. Please i have a few questions for clarifications:
1. How do I apply for this skilled worker Canadian Visa
2. For the proof of funds, since I am the only person relocating because I am single I didn't understand that breakdown of how the proof of funds should be.
Please any help I really know people will be helpful with guiding me through this. Also other necessary information I need to be aware of would be helpful. Thank you all

Just wrote my ielts. Want to start gathering my papers down. I'm a 27years old lawyer who has been paid with cash since the beginning of time. So I know I will need to get a letter from my boss stating that i work there and how much he pays me and also a salary certificate which I will notarize. What other documents can I keep now so I wont be too stressed later on. Do I get the salary certificate and letter now or wait until ITA. Also since I dont have the money I'm getting it from a family member. My other question now is, if a family member gives me a gift deed. Do I also submit hes 6months bank draft or its only mine I will submit with the deed.
Thanks for ur reply

I quoted what you typed. Please explain that. It is not captured by IRCC on their website and they never said brothers/sisters can't gift siblings which is gift deed which I used and moved. IRCC is just tolerating it as if they don't it may make many folks not to be eligible. That is the fact!

The one I don't get is when people get these monies and wanna pass them off as theirs. It sucks! It is like plagiarism, you don't have the money and you won't acknowledge who gave you.

I think you should direct this to the person that said the Gift deed should come from parents, not me. If you used a gift deed from a sibling to travel, this means they accept it as long as it is not shady. Someone said that gift deed should come from parents, which I opposed.

I believe it can come from parents or siblings as long as it is not shady, and you are not claiming it is your own savings.

There is robust response on this platform regarding using gift deeds. I'll suggest you read up so you can get informed.

SALARY
By now you should be getting salary in bank account directly from employer . You can present 6 months statement to showcase this .

If not , you can do what you indicated but it should still be within a year or 6 months duration of salary certificate.

Gift deed

This means that the money is yours . It's best to get from parent before application and keep it untouched in you account prior to ITA and the whole process . There is more to this . Pls read up as the question has been answered more than 10millions times on this platform.

Good luck .

I didn't get your first question cos if you referring to express entry federal skilled work program , then you should read the pages again .cos it has all the answers from writing IELTS to ppr.

2. Pof- it's on CIC website very straight forward . There is no breakdown . Single applicant pof is different from a family of 2. Check for the pof for a single applicant. Now the reason I directing you there ,if for you to get a robust information .

You have to match the noc duties listed with what you actually do in your dept.

You should be doing like 80 percent of the duties listed

Hello all
If the POF is 100% gift deed and in the spouse's account, will the PA still be required to submit bank reference letter?
Also for PNP,is IELTS for PA and spouse also locked upon submission of full application?
