I have been on the waiting list to relocate on a PR to Canada but it's been like forever.

I got this beautiful mail which I will love the Gurus to tell me one or two things about it. (Esp that prearrival services part)

I got it and a medical request same day.
NB: I had my medical examination last year March. Since it's over 1year, I guess that is why I got another request.

As long as they don’t ask you to click on any link or make any payment, just observe.

Pre-arrival isn’t a prerequisite although it makes transition easier.

how many people have successfully gone through them that you know . The legit ones will charge you 4000k cad for processing and information that you can find online. Even if you don’t qualify they will still take your money and leave you hanging

Does Emmanuel Babatunde Ajagun want to allow IRCC give their information to an appointed person (such as an immigration consultant, lawyer, friend or family member) to contact IRCC on their behalf? This person can also get details on their case file, such as the status of their submission or application. (This person is called a "representative".)

guys please what should i input for the above question when entering the pool. mind you i dont have a representative or an agent right now because im doing everything myself. but i dont know if i will have one tomorrow, if i select yes to the question, does that mean only the representative can get my details in the future and if i select no, does that mean i can never ever use an agent

I haven't taken any Jab of the vaccine yet, do u think that will cause a possible delay when PPR is finally out?

The government is literally begging folks to get vaccinated. USA ‘graciously’ sent 4M doses of Moderna, we have received JnJ and about to receive Az this week but you comfortably left that part out and dropped a message saying people should go to Ghana for it.
Same stock in Ghana is what we have here - literally from AU/COVAX or USA.

This is a matter of life and death and the least you can do is encourage people to walk into the nearest primary health center and get vaccinated.

Is it the same Ghana that will collect money for yellow fever card so you get a pass at PoE - there’s nothing fascinating about their shitty governance.
It’s a sh*thole all round.

I am not being combative and I’ll respond to you as this is a public forum/thread.
Perhaps if you paid attention more you’d realize there’s vaccine nationalism even Australia can’t lay their hands on Pfizer.
Even Canada at some point was scheduled to receive vaccine donation from the US so what??
The vaccines weren’t administered because as with any reasonable process, it needs to be tested, healthcare officials trained on how to handle and administer , what to expect etc.
Perhaps you expected them to roll out almost immediately without following due process.

If something is done right, there will be little risk involved.

Please, make una open another thread for vaccines e joor...

The vaccines in Nigeria might be the same with the ones here in Canada but like you said, do we know how they stored them? Truth is a lot of us are wicked, corrupt and greedy. The same people that were hoarding ordinary indomie that was to be distributed during a pandemic are the same people you want me to trust with vaccine? Who knows if they’ve even switched the vaccines? They might have kept the real vaccines in some warehouse even. At first, I wasn’t going to take the vaccine right now, but I had to take it here in Canada because I was visiting Nigeria and I didn’t want a situation where I would be stuck in naija and have to take it there. Me I don’t want them to mistakenly inject me with acid in that Nigeria abeg. I rather risk taking the vaccine here in Canada than in Nigeria because Canada cares more about its citizens/residents! If 5,000 people die from vaccine mistakes/complications in Nigeria, best believe the government wouldn’t care or blink an eye! But here in Canada, before they allow the vaccines to be used on anybody, best believe that they have educated the medics on the processes. Infact, you can be sure you’re in the best hands. He also spoke about Canada not being able to honor timelines, I’m sorry and I also know how frustrating it can be. But Canada is doing what any sane country does best which is looking out for its citizens/residents. Are you expecting them to let millions of people into the country during a deadly pandemic? Don’t you know that’s putting Canadians at risk? I feel like we are even the cause of our suffering because during the pandemic, they were mostly still approving applications and issuing COPRS. They just said don’t travel but we nor Dey hear word. People continued traveling. Of course, they had no option than to completely halt the ppr/copr issuing process. We are only reaping the benefits of not following laid down rules. I was just shaking my head at people that were looking for ways to fly all the way to Cotonou, US, ghana just so they could enter Canada. If you don’t come to Canada immediately, would you die? Is Canada running away? If we had followed the rules and not traveled at that time, they wouldn’t have stopped issuing coprs and most people would have been traveling now that the restrictions are lifted but now everyone has to wait till God know when for them to first issue coprs.

This whole rant reeks of an asinine superiority complex and ill-advised bias towards one's own country.

I will just respond to the CoPR talk. I want you to go on Twitter under IRCC's or Marco Mendicino's tweets, you will see why people found different means to land and did not let their CoPRs expire. The Canada you're defending, particularly their immigration system, is steeped in time wasting atavistic practices and rank incompetence.

IRCC made people jump through stringent and elitist metrics to be chosen, collected processing fees from them, promised them timelines and reneged on that, keeping people in total darkness and uncertainty in their lives. Some applications are held as long as 30 months and you say they shouldn't complain or withdraw their applications. How is this even a wise thing to say?
