Guys, for my recommendation letter, the company where I did my NYSC insisted that I was an intern with them and that is what was written on my recommendation letter, but they also added the duties I performed daily which is still in line with my NOC. I hope this would not cause any issues? Total work hour per week (40) and my monthly salary was also stated in the letter. |

GrAnDwEeZ: Does the letter meet the requirements of the IRCC application checklist? See page one. If yes, I don't think you have any issues. If FSW allows work experience gained while in school, apprenticeships and co-ops, provided they meet the FSW conditions, I would be surprised that an intern job title that meets those same conditions would be a problem. #MyView https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=394 1 Like

creativefun:Create a profile, you may be lucky to get a NOI from Ontario if your Tech NOC is in demand. Also note that I don't know of any Microsoft certifications that is evaluated. Stick to BCS -Certificate in IT. 1 Like |

Good morning people... Please Is it possible to change NOC before ITA ...with the recent NOC changes my NOC might be downgraded to C level. Can I change it now? Will it be any problems in the future? The two job descriptions are actually like .. just dt one is more experienced. My actual NOC is executive assistant but I opted to use admin assistant cos the requirements looked simpler.. But someone said the most important thing is what’s on my reference letter. Is this correct ? |

Dennyjuff: The new NOC structure is not yet effective. In fact, the notice says it is only for information and is subject to change. There is no skill level C in the new proposed structure and we don't know yet which TEER IRCC will define as being acceptable for FSW. Why not base your NOC choice on the current NOC structure and on what matches your JD which can be substantiated by a work reference letter. #PersonalOpinion 2 Likes

Hello everyone My BSc degree and Professional Certificate (CIPM) were evaluated by WES as "Bachelor's degree (three years) and Bachelor's degree (four years)". Is this how the WES report is for everyone with such profile? While completing my IRCC application, there was no option of "Two or more degrees" as I see on the CRS Tools, I only saw the "Bachelors Degree" option and "Master's Degree or licensed certification" option. So, I picked "Bachelor's Degree" option for both at the point where asked the equivalent of my degrees as stated in my WES report . But after submitting my application, my overall score dropped by 40 points as against the score I got when I used the CRS Tool. Please I will appreciate your advice. Thank you. |
