3 learn not to overly bash something , I'm pretty certain I won't use the device or buy it but if I'm sincere its pretty nice and affordable for its price , you are basically getting all this for a sub $300 device that is indigenous to nigeria with after sales services , I swear them try for this one

...

True, being objective doesn't make you stupid. I love Xiaomi phones, but with this Infinix Zero 8, Transsion has done something good - yes, they have stepped up. The price is also competitive; it will go head-to-head with other Helio G90T devices, Snapdragon 730G devices, and Snapdragon 720G devices. As Bane said in The Dark knight rises, "Let the game begin".
I can see people typing "trash", "nonsense", and so many other demeaning words - well, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. This is the exact behaviour some have accused Transsion adherents of - if you can't take it, don't dish it out.
Why is this a good move? It levels the playing field, and will ensure end users have good alternatives, a win-win situation if you ask me.

P.S. The views expressed above are entirely my own. You are perfectly within your rights to disagree with my views - it is what makes us human.

Dude your views make perfect sense , if you dont like a brand doesn't mean you should still bash them when they do something good .

I see some bashing the battery as if they want 100kmah

Bashing the price , what where they expecting .

Beefing the number of camera modules , when they haven't taken a picture with it.

Bashing the software optimization as if the miui is light years ahead , something India's complain is buggy , ads laden amidst other gripes .

I dont like transsion because of their previous antics but yeah this is one hell of a device for the price it's being offered .

But they will put snapdragon 730G on a Samsung phone and sell it for 193k you will still gladly buy, meanwhile helio G90T has better CPU, GPU and overall performance than Snapdragon 730G....expensive garbage indeed grin

Dats not true sd 720 and 730G are better, according to reviews and not specs on paper

As a fan of Xiaomi and other brands offering value for money, infinix tried on this zero 8,kudos on the chipset upgrade, yeah they cut corners on build quality tho, could have had a gorilla glass 5 like the likes of Xiaomi but they're are doing something commendable Ja re, hmm d price? Well Sha a lil drawback since compared to the note 9pro, d note 9pro kinda comes out a lil perfect to it spec wise, Sha infinix tried Ja re, better days ahead, let the games begin grin.

This phone is really nice.....
As a redmi Fan I can honestly say.....They did a very good job with this phone
I don't really like their XOS though really wish they can make it more attractive like oneui and miui

OP does the camera have macro mode?

Please help me....
Redmi note 8 pro or note 9 pro...
Which should I consider... Putting into consideration battery life, speed and camera! Or should I go for this zero 8 or a Samsung phone

Yeah the G90t is a beast but the snapdragon 730G ain't bad either. Or are you a learner grin

I don't recall stating anywhere that snapdragon 730G is bad, they are both mid-range chipset each having their own pros and cons, with G90T having better performance while 730G is more effective and can handle longer game sessions.... I'm just pointing out that the G90T isn't thrash just like the last person stated cool

I didn't categorically state that G90T is better overall, I just stated it has better CPU and GPU which is true. 730G has the advantage because it's more efficient, has reduced power consumption and can handle long sessions of gaming, but G90T is still on par with it. They both have their pros and cons.

Nice one from infinix at least they have showws us that its not the whole transsion holdings that is cursed, using a gaming chip, 90Hz refresh rate, acceptable screen size, and 'one kind battery' but for the price it's completely useless I rather get the all new 'REDMI NOTE 9 PRO' (this is the part where you hear those kind of glorious songs that lasts for some seconds).
And to those wondering don't get me wrong I'm not saying that they didn't do an excellent job, it is an excellent job though but from their point of view because REDMI NOTE 8 has been there since forever.

I think Infinix has stepped up with the launch of the Infinix Zero 8 at the price of 116,900 Naira. Here are the specifciations of this smartphone powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T:

CPU: 2.05GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T with Mali-G76 GPU

Storage and RAM: 128 GB and 8GB RAM; expandable up to 512GB via microSD

OS: Android 10 with XOS v7.0.0

Camera: Quad-cameras: 64MP f/1.8 main camera; 8MP ultra wide f/2.2, 2MP depth and 2MP low-light sensor

Front camera: Dual 48 MP + 8 MP

Video recording: 1080p@30/60fps, 720p@960fps

Connectivity: Dual Nano-SIM: GSM / HSPA / LTE

Other Features: Fingerprint scanner (side), USB Type-C

Finally an Infinix phone in the Nigerian market which looks worth buying. What do you think?

Pros:
-Bigger battery.
-Recent chipset which is proven better(opinions varies tho).
-More connectivity options
Better ui(well its andriod so we can freely twerk our phones to preferred UI)
-build quality, make my mind rest small with gorilla glass 5 grin
-well design is better (honestly I'm a performance guy over beauty grin).
-cost less than the zero 8 Sha.

That's why I'll pick the note 9pro over the zero 8 Sha.

The battery is very poor. When I head step up, I was expecting 7000mh battery. Other spec r sweet but the battery kills it.
