Notatribalist: What exactly do you think might have led to that ? Have any NIgerians in Ghana been engaging in any Criminal activities that could have infuriated their hosts such as murder and kidnapping? |

Christistruth00:..Ghanians are bitter about Nigeria simply because Nigerians sell goods at cheaper price than Ghanians. Ghanians believe in making big profit from just one product, while Nigerians believe in little little profit. So for this reason they feel Nigerians are spoiling their business. |

Just30:Ghana does not allow 90 days, it is 60 days, that's a breach of the law. The resident permit plus ID isn't in dollars (120 dollars) expensive like other west African countries, very affordable, you Ghanaians thinks other countries can't do same or they're foolish or what. Wait for reciprocal to see what happens. I blame idiotic foriegners living in those countries. 1 Like |

SUFFERInSMILIIN: Every country in the whole wide world can now use Nigeria to shine because we have a very useless and clueless leadership. These men we have in government have no pride and dignity both to their persons and the offices they occupy, instead they're after primitive accumulation of illgotten wealth. Nigeria is now a big for nothing country. Instead of these guys to hit little Ghana below the belt and send them into recession through carefully ochestrated policies, they're here telling shameful sob stories as if they are helpless on what to do. Even if they don't care about Nigerians, even if they don't give a hoot about our corporate image that is being rubbished in the most attrocious way, then don't they have self respect? Don't they have dignity?? These guys are so irresponsible and foolish!!! 3 Likes |

Ghana government take note, and make corrections sharply...Lots of Nigeria add to the GDP of Ghanian economy, via attending Ghana schools, and the money our boys spend in your economy by living there, even Ghana musicians and actors make a lot of money from the Nigerian economy. Ghana and Ghanians give respect to whom it is due. Correct yourself before we weild the big stick. |

When i read certain write ups,i am proud.the future of this country is bright.i wouldnt have adviced any better. quote author=Rossinky post=93318518] Excellent response by the FG. I suggest Nigeria temporarily withdraws from ECOWAS, just to get the rest of West Africa to sit straight. Nigeria contributes nearly 80% of all ECOWAS funds and those funds help with so many things, from regional security to emergency food and health supplies. The Nigerian GDP is 75% of West Africa's GDP. West Africa has 14 nations that basically depend on Nigeria for their survival. Nigeria should LEAVE ECOWAS for them, and ask Nigerian businesses in Ghana to return home. 3 of the top 5 banks in Ghana are Nigerian banks. Order them to withdraw immediately from Ghana, let us see how the Ghana economy can withstand that shock to their system. That move alone will plunge their economy into recession in a matter of days. Also, 70,000 Nigerian students are in Ghanaian universities, and they are made to pay in dollars there. This brings in billions of dollars to Ghanaian coffers each year. Nigeria should declare that it will not recognise degrees from Ghanaian universities henceforth, and end that phenomenon. Let us see how long before Ghana gets their head straight after these measures. If they continue their madness, the FG should consider sponsoring rebel movements in northern Ghana and neighbouring Burkina Faso to infiltrate and destabilize that country, and effect regime change in favour of a more pro-Nigeria administration. Do you know that Ghana hasn't got a single fighter jet? Not one. I've done the research. Their military is ranked 28th in Africa, while Nigeria is 3rd or 4th. Even Burkina Faso is ranked above them militarily. They are very weak and vulnerable to military/terrorist/rebel attacks and incursions, and have spent very little on their military, because their government has taken it for granted that Nigerian forces will defend them like we did in Liberia, Sierra leone, Gambia etc, in the event of a crisis. No more. Ghana have become too proud and arrogant at the relative peace and prosperity they have enjoyed under the regional economic and security umbrella that Nigeria has provided the sub-region over the last 20 years. They must be taught a lesson they will never forget.[/quote] 2 Likes |

Rubbish country Never seen a government as useless as that of Nigeria. I am never a supporter of China but I so love the fact that each time the United States of America threatens them with any form of rise in tax they reply instantly without time wastage. But my darling Niger or abi na Chad sef will crawl like a snail plus empty retaliations. Abeg Ghana fire on joor ![]() |

onyechez:The ecowas policy says 90 days and 90 days is all you will get beyond which you must take steps to regularise your stay in Ghana. Else deportation awaits. All African countries have a resident permit rule including Nigeria, so why are you guys complaining about Ghana enforcing it legal regime? So now you want to set how huch Ghana should charge on residence permit? Did Ghana set Nigeria resident permit amount charge for her? Are Nigerians the only one who pay residence permit in Ghana? The reason why most countries turn out to be huge messes is the lackadaisically way to law enforcement Every country in West Africa need to start enforcing their laws so they dont end up with huge messes on their hand. 1 Like |
