In Mass Communication, news are impersonal and must be handled by professionals who are educated mass communication practitioners and dissemination must be through a technological device.

What happens in Nigerian mass media are thorough issues and mistakes that most times are due to illiteracy. Journalism is done by journalists who are the professionals while citizen journalism is what everyone does these days, whatever they think is news worthy, they snap or video and send out on social media that is why they don't understand the relevance of blurring a gruesome or obscene picture, everything goes out online, raw, no gate keeping or editing.

However, on citizen journalism level, many mistakes are made and they can be overlooked but on the core mass media level, some mistakes are worthy of whoops, imagine this.... https://egbechopublishers..com/2020/09/a-funny-blunder-between-citizen.html
