Nigerians from all walks of life including academics, businessmen, traditional rulers, politicians and captains of Industry, Knights and their ladies and the religious, poured encomiums on the Anglican Bishop of Umuahia Diocese, Rt. Rev'd Geoffrey Obijuru Ibeabuchi as he observed his golden jubilee birthday thanksgiving.

The event which took place at St. Stephen's cathedral, Umuahia, Abia State also saw the baptism, dedication and thanksgiving of their daughter, Ozioñu Great Geo-Ibeabuchi.

In his sermon captioned, "How will I repay the Lord for all He has done", drawn from Psalm 116 verses 12 and 13, the Anglican Bishop of Aba Diocese, Anglican communion, Rt. Rev'd Nathan Kanu said birthday ceremony calls for the celebration of God's blessings upon one's life and should be used to thank God for everything He has done.

He enjoined the congregation to always celebrate with those who celebrate, adding that the only way to appreciate God is to let others know the goodness of God through the life you live.

Bishop Kanu blessed the Chief celebrant - Rt. Rev'd Ibeabuchi and informed him that God's blessings will continually flow in his life, even as he counselled him to always allow God to be the king and Lord in his life, family and ministry.

In appreciation, Bishop Ibeabuchi and wife, Ochiora Gospel Ibeabuchi, thanked God for His infinite mercy and grace upon his family and appreciated all in attendance for their prayers, support and best wishes.
