APC just adopted him as the candidate without conducting another primary election.

As regards the house of assembly members, Edo APC conducted a free and fair primaries for the emergence of their party candidates. This was done and the list was sent to the national headquarters so that they will vet the list and send to INEC. But Oshiomole being the national chairman decided to replace all the names in that list with his cronies. He sent an entirely new list of his cronies to INEC so that when they were elected, he would use them to checkmate Obaseki and perpetually be the godfather in Edo politics. Obaseki did his best to curtail Oshiomole.
This was the genesis of the house of assembly problem.

Nigerians: we all need to get on the USA, EU and UK official handlers and thank them for their outstretched hands on this new policy.
