This is a question that I believe only the citizen of Nigeria and the wise one would answer without ignoring. The poor and the rich will have a different side of the view in this question

I do ask myself how correct can I classify my country as a developing country?? is it even correct to classify Nigeria as a growing country and the answer is so rough for me when some people answer me offline So I brought it here to hear your opinion please do not ignore The question is “How is it correct to classify Nigeria as a developing country?”

Nigeria is a 3rd world country, let's not try to fool anyone, let alone ourselves.... Some people would say that the word "3rd world country" is offensive and the appropriate term should be "developing country" but Nigeria is nowhere near developing let alone a developing country, like some of these Asian/South American countries.

The best term would therefore be.... Nigeria is an underdeveloped country.
