This is a question that I believe only the citizen of Nigeria and the wise one would answer without ignoring. Nigeria is a 3rd world country, let's not try to fool anyone, let alone ourselves.... Some people would say that the word "3rd world country" is offensive and the appropriate term should be "developing country" but Nigeria is nowhere near developing let alone a developing country, like some of these Asian/South American countries. The best term would therefore be.... Nigeria is an underdeveloped country. |
