They never planned on embarking on any strike from the beginning... It was all a movie script meant to portray them as people genuinely fighting for the masses... 56 Likes 6 Shares |

Which of the following reasons were not known to them then before they started chest beating on going on indefinite strike..... The only reasons I can see is that 1) they have a sympathetic disposition to this insensitive government 2) Money have exchanged hands Q.E.D 39 Likes |

Abouwaza:Pls say it the way it is. They have gotten their cuts from the largesse in the form of Ghana-must-go bags. They reportedly shelved the strike because electricity tariff was suspended for 2 weeks. Pls was it just about electricity tariff? Even at that, i just read it that DISCOS said they were not informed of the suspension. Leadership position in this country is just a means of self service. If you think any leader is interested in any other person, you are in for a long thing. But all these will culminate into something i can't mention for now, they should just continue. 8 Likes |

So what exactly are the palliatives? What's the methodology of getting the palliative to everyone? Why would the palliatives be disbursed and in what manner? These are explicit questions you ask on a negotiating table and as long as the opposition can not provide you with concrete answers, you know it is a fallacy. The same government said they're raising pump price and other tariffs because it is not economically viable to run the nation on the present charges (in layman English, the country is broke! ), where are they going to get the money for the palliative? What better paliatives than to just maintain status quo? This labour is a sold out. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
