it all depends on WHO you are dating.
if you are dating any of these ¨hungry, poverty striken, low life¨ ladies that we see on this thread answering NO then definitely there wont be any romance. you see they dont even know what romance stands for, they only believe in the $$$$. so as long as you have money, you can purchase one of them and pretend that there is romance when DEEP DOWN there isnt any. its just a mirror screen! like driving a leased car, it looks like yours but it never is.

throwing insults is a classless way of communicating. your whole idea of having a man carry you all the way is why some women in Nigeria will never see the light and they will always remain under the thumb of the men in that country.

I've tried. It's not fun. Initially I was okay with it, but then he was no longer trying for anything. The little money I go make he go chop, so I stopped funding him.

Just because some men are gold diggers too doesn't make your point any clearer.
If anyone look at the right place and take its time, its possible to find romance without finance. Although finances would make romance "easier", it is NOT a necessity for happiness in relationship or romance. Its only a necessity for all them hungry, broke asss, lost women (and men) who are focussing at the wrong things in life.

A poor man can treat a gal as well as a wealthy one:
- The wealthy one takes you out to fancy restaurants, the poor one shops at Tesco and cook you dinner at home.
- The wealthy one takes you out to Silverbird cinemas, the poor one download movie online and watch it at home with you.
- The wealthy one pays for fancy shopping spree in europe while the poor one walks hand in hand with you in the park looking at the sunset.

Now you may think that the wealthy ones have a better relationship, but in reality they don't, they have an equally rewarding relationship . . . . . . Of course ¨poverty striken/ hungry people who have no idea what to base the value of a relationship with, other than spending power, would tell you the contrary.

Am sure a lot of men have tried supporting their poverty striken gf and it didnt work because most Naija women believe in leeching off men.

Infact most women believe the best way out of poverty is not to work hard but to marry a rich man.

They would give all sort of excuse that they dont want to suffer(You dont suffer if you can work hard), Men are supposed to spend money on them(As if men are superior to them intellectually)
