The Swedish Higher Institutions will be introducing application and tuition fees for international students who want to study in Universities andUniversity Collegesin Sweden, from 2011 academic year (except Nationals of member states of the European Economic Area - EEA - i.e. the European Union countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and Switzerland). Universities in Sweden used to be Tuition Free for both EU and Non-EU/ international students, until the beginning of the autumn semester 2011. Your question, then, as a

I agree it was easier with the usual free tuition than scholarship, which is much more uncertain with high competition, but international students can still apply their skills with the available scholarships for foreign students.
