sessibasi: Thank you very much for that usefull information. By the way, I found people who offer riding in Phoenix http://angiescarservice.setmore.com/bookappointment I contacted with girl and proposed her to drive me in Tucson and back me for 70 usd. So I will think...Take bus or that car, that is more convenient and expensive. More over, may be for all of you will be usefull that service http://phoenix.craigslist.org/search/rid People offer just ride in any direction and you will share only gas. But I'm not sure that is too safe with baby |

Varvara: MIHS moms, does anybody know in Tucson they will do passport in the same day or next one? You should get your passport that same day. 1 Like |

sayoberry: I'm searching Google and everywhere else for apartments or cheap hotels in sugar land o. can't find any. the ones I found are like five star hotels and the apartments are so expensive. Hiya I am planning to use Sugarland as well. Started looking for accommodation (with cooking facilities) also because my host in Sugar Land will be away from town when I get to the USA initially, so I need somewhere to stay for like 3 weeks. The best deal I saw was Studio 6 - just go to Studio 6 website and search for Sugarland (was US$35/day if you are booking for exptended period of time) Alternative was Extended Stay Apartments in Sugar Land - much better reviews, has a pool et al, but more expensive (about US$55 /day if you are booking for 2 months or so) These prices are before taxes, and for 1 bedroom apartment (Queen bed, sleeps 2). Meanwhile you can look at Richmond area as an alternative, its about 15 min drive from Sugarland to Richmond, if the difference is worth the additional cab fare to Dr. Le's office. Hope this helps. 2 Likes |

Phema: @MadameU; Yes, I know she mentioned online. Just wanted to know if Naira master card will do. I paid online with my bank of America debit visa card. I have an account with dem. And yes u can get all ur documents withing 2 weeks sef. Once u av ur baby's BC den u can even get d pp d next day just b ready for d journey and stress but it's very possible. I left d US after 3weeks of delivery. In arizona u can get ur baby's BC 3days after u deliver, I don't know about other states tho 1 Like |

Varvara: Yes it's western passport center. But b careful with d ride. Cuz all d people I heard dat went to tucson d cheapest fare I heard was $300 to and fro. $70 sounds fishy so do ur research well before u go for it. Plus people saying one area is good or bad, we all shud just pray for God's safety, d place u think is safe might just av a psyco living there, so it's just God's grace. People told me crossland area isn't safe but trust me people are living and staying there and nothing happened to them. Same with the hospital, we all take bus to the hospital alone and nothing happened, am back home with my baby and some of my other friends also and we are all fine...everyone shud just b careful no matter d state dey decide to have their baby. 4 Likes |

sessibasi: I proposed her that price, 70 usd and she accepted, but I will read more review about their service. Thank you for your worries! It's true about Crossland. In the public trasport there are a lot of weird and inadequate people, but they don't touch you. I just wonder how many psycho here ))) But Crossland is very safe and quiet place. Almost each day I come back in dark time and no any accidents. Sessibasi, do we have any infant seat car available in Crossland McDowell? |

The link below contains details of the new MIHS package, i guess patients are still entitled to some discounts when they sign the agreement. Some clarity should be sought on that though. Its noteworthy that the new package includes all the tests, prenatal care and many more. http://mihs.org/uploads/sites/19/2014/Martha-Maternity_Package_Non_Resident_2014.9.pdf For those discussing security in america, there is nothing to be worried about in my view. Your average dangerous areas are safer than most highbrow locations in Nigeria where the police abuse everything. Above all Safety is the lord's. 1 Like 1 Share |

akelvin: @twizze:yes u can pay monthly as they prefer monthly payments cos we asked they don't expect u to pay d whole tym u r spending at once.but u can tell them ur payment plan hw u want to pay so they said. Or perhaps you could also just open a bank account, all they asked me was prove of ID (2) wc was my international pp and d other was my bank card from 9ja as the lady said she just needed something with my name on it. They didn't require prove of address or anything like that as I just gave her my friend's address verbatim, and that was it. I got my cheque books that day and my card came in about 7-10 working days, but of course you go still hold some cash on you to spend pending while your card arrives +\- depend on you 9ja issued bank cards. 1 Like |

My people don't get it twisted o, some of us looking out for safe areas have no issues with staying in crossland or extended stay east oak or built more, these places have rates that are alarming that's why we are trying to seek out other safe but cheaper options. For the period some of us intend to be in phoenix the bills for crossland and extended stay is as high as 3000-5000 dollars. And I bet most NL that went before now paid a max of 1900 for 60days and above . |

Yeah, the price at crossland is gone up, when I arrived I paid 20usd a night but right now it's 26.60usd a night, and its for a one bed not double bed. I tried to move to double bed room and they said $1300 a month which is on the high side, so if you find cheaper and safe place then cool. Crossland is not bad though, i think i feel someway safe here. |

Jaejae: Thanks JJ! I'm well aware that it typically gets taken out at 37 weeks. But I don't plan to be in Nigeria till then. I plan to use MIHS, that's why I said I would appreciate particular reference to MIHS. We do not have contact with Dr's directly prior to arrival. I just figured it would be better to get first hand information from someone who has been in a similar situation. I no wan reach there and they'll say to remove cerclage is another $2000 apart from normal hospital bills. I would have landed already and confusion go follow. ... maybe I should call Francesca, she might have some valid information since she is in Financiald department |
