Muslims do not or should not vote? And if you ask Muslims not to vote and participate in democracy and letting your grievances known, does that not translate into dying in silence? Our fathers, mothers and grandparents prayed for our leaders to have a change of heart, did they? Can you explain why their hearts still remained wicked and stone hearted? Don’t compare Nigeria to the Arabs, our leaders here are evil and evil should never be allowed to thrive. They’re wicked and protesting against their oppressive rules over the years isn’t bad and God no go vex for us. We are not criticizing them publicly, they all have social media handles so they see it. Or how do you expect us to hold their hands and talk to them that what they’re doing is bad when they’re not even anywhere close to us. 9 Likes |

Sometimes I hate this religion and sometimes i like it... So instead of protesting peacefully for govt to hear their cry, they prefer to use terrorists and rebels. Nawa 3 Likes |

Buhari is not a Muslim because he protested. So I'm still wondering why some Muslims still follow him and defend him. 15 Likes 1 Share |

awujale231:I tire for Nigerian Muslims that can't think! Islam is easily one of the worst religions today when one considers the serious atrocities Muhammad and his group of warmongers and expansionists (Sahabah) committed in Saudi and other countries to propagate their faith. The religion is simply anti-human. Taking a critical look at Qur'an, any science-savvy person will see the lots of errors in elementary science in the book. Islam is just a man-made religion, like all other religions. It's merely a political tool. 7 Likes |

Scholars are writing this because we have Buhari who happens to be a Muslim in power. During the time of Jonathan, scholars did not write things like this, rather most northerners criticized him both openly and closely. Jonathan's government was the most insulted and most criticized government in this 4th republic. I still remember vividly how he was thrown stones and dirts in one of his campaign in the North. Where were this scholars when these were all going on? Isn't the double standard obvious already? The kind of evil this Nigerian government is meting out on its citizens is so horrible and comparable to forcing people to leave their faith for another thing entirely. If we're not rising to stop of evil, how long do we wait before it totally gets out of hand? Police killing us everyday like flies, you said we should continue looking at the government and not say anything to stop it? You say we can hold their hands in private and talk to them? How does a common man gets to do that? This thread is DOA. All your quotes aren't applicable to this situation. 30 Likes |

Watching the mentality of these Muslims, it is clear why nothing is working in this country. When so-called educated people refuse to use the brain but blindly follow the sayings and deeds (haadith) of one terrorist from Saudi, who they call Muhammad. This is how religion makes Nigerians docile and mentally lazy. Whatever the government does, simply pray to Allah and fold your arms; that's how an average Muslim thinks, except some few smart ones among them. If you want to know where prayer works, check Qur'an and movies. In real life, praying to a god has no effect. What works is hard and smart work, strategic planning, and luck. The harder and smarter one works, the luckier one is. 4 Likes |

AllOfUsAtManna: Removed? Laughing And Buhari is a Muslim? We have never had a Muslim as a ruler. A Muslim would never venture into democracy talkless of contesting for votes and political posts.. They are all sufi or Christians.. they're kufar. We Muslims have no power to remove them and install a Muslim as president. Hence, we pray for the better governance 1 Like |
