Seun I have protested with u on BBOG at onikan and nothing is perfect in ur protest at that time but we recognise the basics and bases of the demands

Calling this current protest useless is a mockery of ur own efforts too at ridiculing the lives lost and years of activism of your father too

The basics and bases are clear except if you just want to be mischevious and renege cos it's not coming from ur stable

In the nearest future Nigeria will be guided by truth and in every democracy every agitations wether small or big counts

Endsars gained momentum because of the contraption of years of decadence in the police force which has affected the social justice system, disrupt the common man flow of economy and used to intimidate opposition's and public opinion.

Your father was a constant victim of law enforcement high-handedness and disregard for human rights

Please seun be guided in your utterances and actions to either mean you keep quiet and let us protest in peace or u join us

Thank you

Citizens protesting are exercising their rights not your wish

On this one, I'd support full time. The protesters are busy expending precious opportunity on making flimsy demands and taking stupid photos as though it is just some fanfare carnival.

Look at our roads.

Look at the kind of life our public officials, ministers and governors, including the president himself, are living.

Look at our public schools especially those run by the state governments.

Look at the disparity between the income of the haves and have nots.

Look at our public healthcare system.

Absolutely nothing is where it should be in this country, yet we keep shouting EndSars. Our problems are too humongous to be whittled down to just a demand about SARS. This is my greatest problem, but people feel when I post here, I'm against the protests. I simply feel hurt a great opportunity is being wasted away.
you have said it all. Them won kill me when I talk the same thing.

If you are on the protest ground, you won't be saying this. There is no way you can rope in all issues and make progress. I stand with #EndSARS

Seun Kuti is really losing touch with the realties in Nigeria,me thinks.
If he has called the protest to emancipate Nigerian from the thieving politicians and military useless, then he is an old retard.
Everything big started in a small way even the world.
Nigerians are good people being continually made bad by the thieving, wicked and continually getting wicked 2% politicians and the military who have continually recycled themselves even though they do not know anything about good governance only to continually impoverish the resilient good people of Nigeria.

Nigerian Youths and Good minded adults are not demanding for the undoables but doables that will galvanize the country into an unprecedented growth where everybody will be proud to be a Nigerian.
Our demands include...

The second image is really disheartening and devilish.

He's making sense, but it's important we start from somewhere.
Endsars protest will achieve more than just an end to SARS unit of the police.

My issue is that, the salaries/allowances of those blue chip Nigerian parastatals and Government agencies staff should be slashed. Imagine a CBN/NNPC worker living a larger than life lifestyle where as his counterparts in other ministries barely have enough to survive.

So Seun Kuti just came out from nowhere and has the audacity to say the Nigerians protesting demands are too weak.... that's why he's not joining in the protest.. please why didn't he start the protest with his strong demands...abeg someone should remind that kid that the protest continues with or without him and he should quit chasing clout.

he made some valid points but i quite disagree.

#EndSARS is an avenue to end police brutality, uphold justice, defund NASS and raise minimum wage (including police) to world standard.

See how this is beneficial to the average Nigerian?

There's nothing more than can be done than for the government to promise..... It's not about making demands,,,, but the demands being fulfilled..... How many problems does the government want to solve at once.... The youths should start planning for 2023,,,,,cause those old men are are ticking their plans...

If we don't fix the inherent systemic rot, you cannot outsmart those old thieves.

They have been in the system long enough to understand its failings and prey on them.

So, fixing the endemic rot is the first step to capturing the country
Re: Seun Kuti On EndSARS: "Our Demands Are Too Weak" by kayjay69(m): 10:15am On Oct 19, 2020
Seun is right.

The demands are indeed weak and it really does seem we are fighting for better welfare for the police when we should be agitating for better welfare for all (police included).

Also, even if the FG increases salaries and provides better conditions for the police force it may not translate to all Police automatically becoming better people in society. I do believe we should be protesting bad governance, the mother of police brutality and all other brutalities meted out on Nigerians. And again, it is not about Buhari, it is about ALL our rotten leaders (prior, present and future).

But it is my opinion that Seun should have joined the protests regardless. I guess he may have thought it would be like most other protests in Nigeria greeted with apathy.

Seun is right because the core issues affecting Nigerians especially the poor and ordinary man is not addressed. We are only fighting for the police and how boyz will be driving their expensive cars freely and live lavish lifestyle

This is my take on the matter, instead of just fighting for Sars to end, let use the power of youth to push the old dollards out come 2023. any youth that vote for APC or PDP come 2023 should be seen as a virus. we are mire than that, we have brain more than them, we have strength and power more than them. lets use those advantage.

Nobody wants Buhari to resign except the gullibles ones. What about those that have been there before him? Were they better?
It is systemic and that system is continually building the bad,the bad and the ugly. They are successfully exterminating the good. What we crave is the good, the good and the almost good.No country or person is perfect.
