I think that question should also be directed to the states governors. If they can hoard the CaCovid palliative then they can also hoard the FG palliative.

My super mod, that news has been debunked few months back. The ICPC chairman said that he was referring to principals and staff of federal colleges who were claiming that during the lockdown, they fed some students in the dormitory with #700million only to collect the money from ministry of education and channel the funds to their private accounts.
The news was even on Nairaland. You as a moderator should know about the thread.

With what I discovered, the private sector donated money to the FG not to any state government. The FG bought/purchased food materials under the umbrella CACOVID and disbursed it in abundance to all the states. The states in turn hoarded it, then reported to the FG that they have exhausted all their food stuffs.

This move lead the govt. to bring out from its own purse, and did some borrowing. They shared it back to every state. Then it was hoarded again.

My only problem with the FG was at least they could have set up a monitoring committee. To go to each state.

• how much money was received and spent?
• how much was given to each Governors of 36-State and Abuja
•So when did Nigerians received the Palliatives that the Minister and the Governors did not know? You said you went to every Regions,please name the places Madam! Is it a TownHall Meetings?
• What distribution channels was adopted for the People?
• How much is left of the Covid-19 Fund and who is holding it in -Trust on behalf of Nigerians?
These are the questions begging for answers and Nigerians are waiting!

Hoarding and stealing things that belong to other people is a Nigerian thing .

A bank head office will send branded sourveniars that is supposed to be given to top 20 customers of their branches in regions and zones meanwhile the zonal heads and branch managers will divert such souveniars for their private use in their homes .

This Ca Covid materials that were hoarded is just a global picture of how the country is actually run both at private and government levels.
