THERES NO NEED TO GIVE HIM MONEY DIRECT ALL NNPC FILLING STATIONS TO SELL TO POLICE MEN FREE HOWEVER THERE SHOULD BE CHEKS PUT IN PLACE TO MONITOR POLICE VECHILES AND THEIR MONTHLY FUEL INTAKE TO CRUB CORRUPTION IF YOU GIVE IGP MONEY HE WOULD POCKET IT.

I can tell my dear naive nairalanders that the said money cannot fuel police vehicles effectively for one year.
We are talking about at least 30 liters of fuel for about 12000 patrol vehicles a day, fuel for investigation activities, fuel special duties, fuel for administrative and logistic runs.

I wanted to add fuel for generators then I remember we are only talking about vehicles now

I think the police vehicles should be converted so that gas can be used instead of petrol,or diesel .the federal govt. Should practise what they preach

Even if the money is approved, the bulk will be embezzled. The policemen will still be told to fuel their operational vehicle. He should give a detailed breakdown.

1. Total number of vehicles in working conditions.
2. How much it will cost to fuel each per day.
Etc.

Good idea. But they are so corrupt that they will start selling fuel by siphoning from the vehicles after buying or colluding with station attendants to fill containers instead of cars.
If you catch them, they will say they are storing it for emergency situations.
