Recounting the job done so far by the body, the club President brought to the notice of the members that, early this year, the club had visited Government Secondary Commercial School, and spoke with them glowingly, while charging them on the importance of their wellbeing and presented to them useful items.

Applauding the involvement of Dr Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel in the growth of the association, Mrs Ewa noted that the club first outing in Uyo was a conference in 2018, which was hosted by the wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor. She added that the first proper inauguration of the club, Uyo Branch was done in October last year, making the club chapter barely a year old.

Bayam International School became the first school to house the BPW Secondary School Club.
