It is no longer news, that popular South African reggae super star is dead and we all know that he was assassinated when he was shot by three men whom South Africa police called Car snatchers.

He was shot on the 18th of February 2007 (some 13 years ago) at Rosettenvile in Johannesburg, South Africa shortly after dropping his two kids at their Uncle's house.

The three boys who have been convicted for his murder are mbuti mabe, Sifiso Mhalanga and Groxwa Ludwe, respectively. You may recalled that Lucky dube was shot in his Chrysler 300c but he manage to take the bullet and continue to drive until he was exhausted and crashed his car to a nearby car where he died.

According to a special report from The South African Police: the three men that killed her that were convicted on 31st of March 2009, the convicts confessed that the killing of the Reggae maestro was accidental and not intentionally. According to them,they thought that the person driving the car was a Nigerian Citizen and they make an attempt to snatched the car hereby shoting Lucky Dube in the process, their plan was to rob a Nigerian.
You need to know that the three of them were convicted and sentenced to Life imprisonment by the South African Court.
