During the lockdown and out of boredom I took it upon myself to learn a skill. so I went for python, Excel and Excel VBA. Right now I am kinda wondering what kind of work (side hustle) this skill can get me here in Nigeria. I am a professional drummer looking to explore other professional areas.

Start with teaching people, freelancing then job. Nice one.

First, you need to retrain/reframe your thought that your market value is limited to Nigeria. Every career opportunity and competition is now global.

You can stay in your room in Nigeria with your boxers and work for a US/UK based company with payment in foreign currencies.

Secondly, be conversant with globally-accepted trends, tools and practice in your field.

Thirdly, check international recruitment sites; indeed.com and co and apply for data analysis/science related roles.
