Nigerians, this a pointer to the fact that CHANGE has come.
If the pdp with all their rigging artillaries are quaking, their supporters Should better join the CHANGE train.
I am convinced that it has happened, all we have to do is to bring it to pass by going all out to vote.
The Nigerian political landscpe has never witnessed the type of crowd and enthusiasm we see with the BB supporters.
You might argue that the other aspirants also gather crowds, you're right, but no enthusiasm.
All with need to do to seal the victory is to engage in RETAIL POLITICKING - selling the BB team to individuals and ecouraging
them to do same and so on.
FELLOW NIGERIANS, THIS IS OUR YEAR OF JUBILEE AND ONLY THE BB TEAM HOLDS THE NEEDED LIBERATION.
MAY 29 2011: THE DAY NIGERIA WAS LIBERATED.
BB 2011: IT HAS HAPPENED.

For the novice, before a material can be shown or exposed in the media, it must have a clearance issued by the Advertising Standards Panel (ASP) (A part of APCON). If the advertiser doesn't have the clearance, a media house is mandated to reject the material. That is the law.

What do they expect ? even if it is Buhari's government they will do the same thing now, After all His government has one of the worst human rights records in the history of this country. They should stop behaving as if they are being victimized jare.
Re: Nta Tv rejected the campaign jingle of the bb team. by Kobojunkie: 12:15pm On Mar 26, 2011
^^^ His government was military -- what we have now is a democracy where NO MAN, not even ASO ROCK ought to CONTROL the media in the way this one is trying to.

I understand the need to compare but you can't do that in this case. Under military rule, we did not have freedoms to criticize our government. But under democracy we do and the president is NOT ABOVE THAT LAW.
Re: Nta Tv rejected the campaign jingle of the bb team. by jposuagwu: 12:24pm On Mar 26, 2011
It is allowed in politics, without offense to anybody. If Buhari wins tomorrow, will he allow another political party to come to the National Station to advertise that there are NO roads, no hospitals, no schools etc built by him, his party (CPC) and his government.

It is not out of place to reject such offensive advert by the National Station because Buhari, Ribadu, Shekarau, Pat Utomi etc will do same thing!

Mkpotu, Mkpotu, Mkpotu. How many times did I call you? You have decided to live out your notorious name on nairaland. Mkpotu means noise. True or false? It equally means nuissance noise. True or false? If you have left the bear parlours of Ajegunle and Mushin to come to nairaland to display your ignorance and baseless argument. Better go back and continue in your usual terrain. Nairaland is not for ignorant and moronic brains like yours. Tax payers money was used in setting up NTA and surely PDP govt or Jonathan has no right determining kind of adverts to be placed there. ONLY NBC has such right according to laid down regulation. Like I said, Mkpotu, this is not ur terrain. Boggof.

what are we arguing over? instead of CPC to tell us what they want to do for us, they are busy criticising the government. They'd better be told that vulgar words are not allowed to go on Air.

I wish they knew that NTA does not promote the politics of chaos!

In you warped thinking, NTA's refusal to air Buhari's jingle is fair and square.

The amount of propaganda on this forum is becoming too much. I just watched NTA and I saw CPC campaign jingle live. Watch NTA yourself and stop the falsehood. For those who need to watch online, you can use this link: http://suncastv.ae/watch-now/nta-live-streaming. Watch for some time and the jingle will come up based on how much airtime they paid for.

So if NTA had originally rejected the jingle, got several knocks from Nigerians and subsequently accepted to run the advert, the orignal denial which was widely reported now becomes falsehood? Abeg think again.

9ijaMan,

Some posters on this thread have made people assume that they just refused to air the jingle unreasonably. Some other posters suggested the jingle may have flouted some regulations set by the regulatory body (Not by NTA). The latter seems to be more correct. People were already castigating PDP for that when it may have been CPC's own fault! Why should we blame PDP for CPC's failure to adhere to the regulations? It is not bad for me to point out the current position of things so that people can get a balanced view of the whole situation.

Lets be fair!

You are actually not being fair. All the reports in the papers said that NTA refused to air the CPC jingles because some parts of the jingles critiqued the GEJ led PDP government. When has criticizing government become a crime if what you are criticizing the government for are very obvious, even to the blind. NTA simply played to the PDP gallery, no one wants to get sacked since they are all being paid by the same government CPC is criticizing. If you want to be fair, you ought to be be objective and truthful.
