Revocation Of Rights Of Occupancy: Learn Something Today by Nobody: 11:50pm On Dec 17, 2020 |
Hey Dear there, Same way the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) has the right to block all lines that do not submit their NIN, the Governor has the right to revoke a right of occupancy in a case of overridding public interest!!! Wahala for who no STAY GUARDED O!!! Overriding public interest in the case of a statutory right of occupancy simply means; (a) the alienation by the occupier by assignment, mortgage, transfer of possession, sublease, or otherwise of any right of occupancy or part thereof contrary to the provisions of the Land Use Act or of any regulations made thereunder. (b) the requirement of the land by the Government of the State or by a Local Government in the State, in either case for public purposes within the State, or the requirement of the land by the Government of the Federation for public purposes of the Federation. (c) the requirement of the land for mining purposes or oil pipelines or for any purpose connected therewith. Now that you know, what steps are you taking towards ensuring you do not fall victim of the above? LET'S HEAR IT IN THE COMMENT SECTION
