Good morning Guys, the oldbies and the newbies. The oldbies will remember me. Well i got refused this morning. I want to say thank you to Frank, Lekib and everyone else who guided me through this journey since October 7th 2020. God bless yall. this as an experience I’ll never forget. For good 8 months including NSE route i used. Canada thinks their country is the only heaven, well to hell with them. Wishing the other applicants awaiting decision a positive one. See you guys when i see you guys. Peace!
Jeez! After 8 months with NSE route? This is very disheartening!

I am so sorry Longjonjoe, all I know is that it will end in praise.

My world! 8 months with NSE route? Deaaaaaad!!!!!

HELLO GUYS, Good morning.

A quick question, I have applied for study permit before, was denied. so I am reapplying, I am refilling the IMM1294E form. it the field for UCI number, should I fill in my UCI from my previous unsuccessful application or should I just leave it blank?

The UCI is your identity and it never changes...... So fill it out with the one you have, don’t leave it blank. Only first time applicants can leave it blank.
Hope this helps......

Hello Everyone.
Good morning.
Just a quick one. I have a degree in Agriculture and a MBA. But i have worked in a bank for almost 15 years. I already applied to schools for a Masters in Agriculture but i feel like i am making a mistake. Do i also apply for courses based on my work experience? Which would increase by chances of having a positive visa outcome?

Thank you.

It is not compulsory. However if you want to get direct information about your application which is taking too long, you may request for your GCMS notes.

For whichever one of these you use, the timeframe will most essentially remain the same. But to speed it up, even if just a little bit, apply for the GCMS note through CBSA rather than IRCC.

Thanks.

Good morning all,

Please after submitting an application and boimetrics, how long does it normally take for eligibility review to start? I'm tired of checking already

I feel that for every number of positive response dished out by the Canadian VOs, there is an equal number of negative response also given out. Like, they hold meetings and discuss the number of approvals and rejections for each week/month.
Some of us will just be victims, it's very sad.

Someone can not even say congratulations in peace without feeling guilty for a corresponding rejection.

I’m so sorry about this! This is very unacceptable from IRCC!!! This is exactly why we are protesting! Why did they take this long to refuse an application? I remember someone here too was denied after doing one semester online!!! Stay encouraged boss and please apply for your GCMS notes when you are ready to understand what went wrong...

There are very negative feedbacks about this college on their facebook page, is it peculiar to only Indians?
so that other international students don't fall victim.

Since you applied feb 4th, you should have tried to get your gcms notes in March/April. I applied got mine exactly 1 month after eligibility review started(i.e. march 17th) and I saw that the pre-assessment was flawed, and since they wrote review required, I quickly responded to it and somehow God made the right VO review my application. May 5th I got a medical request from them.

I think this also to every other person, don’t wait till it is 1 week to your resumption before you start trying to get your gcms notes. Truth is, the review of your application is done quite fast by a Case Analyst, and subsequently a more senior officer goes through your file and the recommendations of the case analyst to make a final decision. If the case analyst writes negative stuffs about you from your gcms notes, you can still appeal before a VO goes through it. This has worked for a few persons, and I think it is a way to go.

Stay blessed! It will end in praise for us all.
