Nigerian relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, has advised married women not to give out money to their husbands as they are only helpers, not providers. The matchmaker made this known in a new video she posted via her official Instagram over the weekend.Speaking further, Blessing Okoro went on to advise women to desist from dating or getting married to men who are jobless and poor. In her words, ”Your husband or your man does not have any business with your money or income as a woman. You are a helper not a provider. A lot of men tend to put eyes on their woman’s money. ”They want to know how much their women are earning, they want to know how much is in their wife’s bank accounts, they share bills… that is nonsense.” Speaking further, Blessing Okoro went on to advise women to desist from dating or getting married to men who are jobless and poor. only a jobless man would be fighting over the money the wife earns but the wife can also be a helper by contributing her own quota.I am talking about loving couples not the hateful ones who live like cat and rat in their homes. 2 Likes |

When my Dad retired back in the days you wait and wait for pension, carry file about the country for gratuity... My mum shared her salary with him, even when he was reluctant When the Gratuity later got paid, they vacationed together and she got some share There are no rules when it comes to finance and relationship, what works for you might not work for others . 20 Likes |

I truly believe a wife is supposed to be a helper. Plus it's wrong for the husband to be so inquisitive about his wife's finances. I also believe the husband is the provider and it's very WRONG for the wife to be so inquisitive about how much the husband earns (if she won't disclose hers). The wife has no business knowing her husband's finances if they aren't into a family business. The husband has to drop anything he feels like if he's dealing with a woman with this mentality. What more? In a the world of today where unemployment & underemployment is the order of the day in Nigeria, if a husband is playing his role as a provider and dropping whatever he can afford, and the woman isn't playing her role as a wife to help if the funds available aren't enough, the kids will suffer and will be the victims. I saw this well while growing up. Women looking gorgeous with kids looking like maids & houseboys because things aren't currently smooth for their father. LMAO. We that grew up with mothers that help or provide when needed have no idea of how blessed we are. Ladies nowadays just want to relax & be taken care of like a trophy wife. I don't object to this, but they should expect junior wives |

Lol. I believe in equality, my sister Bring, I bring too. That's how it should be. How can you marry someone and then place all the financial responsibility on his head? Some women sef. This is what breeds disrespect when he's the only one making the financial contribution at home. 3 Likes |

To hell with "focus on the message instead of the messenger" An idiot like this who was disgraced because she claimed someones property, is not fit to give couples relationship advice. |
