Here in Port Harcourt, retailers sell between 4200 to 3900 naira which is quite high. This has caused most people to put their projects on hold or slow down the pace of the project. Or, will this price range remain as the official market price?

South of Nigeria was faster building modern cement buildings, than the north.

PMB assumed duty; quickly the price of Cement doubled by Dangote.
Quota system; south must wait for north to catch up with cement buildings.

But trucks keep bringing in cements at the various depot in large quantities, government construction works hasn't been stalled.
