This is beginning to look like a blackmail gone wrong, maybe these guys grew a conscience along the line and decided to ditch the case. If that’s the case the man and his daughter deserve major jail time. I hate false sexual abuse accusations just as much as I hate rape.

Make the commissioner fight the case to a logical conclusion in the court cuz some people are already programmed that once you're acusse, you're already guilty....see them saying money has changed hands
I laugh you, when a lady accused don jazzy of rape, what happened.
He sued her immediately for defamation to clear the air.
Why is the man not doing so, why waiting to the extent of an investigation on him.
You think it is play.

I just hope the family was not
threatened
Compelled or
Compensate
to settle out of court

In sane climes rape, armed robbery, terrorism and homicide are felonies that can never be settled out of court as the state handles such. In Nigeria anything goes.

Money is power. Power plus money were both used in this case... undecided

Nigeria must better!

Even the commissioner didn't come out to say this. That innocent gentleman. So so innocent.

Not everything is meant for social media. Because man toast you, use jazz intimidate you to straff you, doesn't mean you should go and tell the world. This is a simple case that could have been easily resolved between both parties. The idiot that recorded the first video of the girl is the main blame in this whole saga. Hope he is happy now.
Just read the gibberish you typed once again...So, "toasting and strafing" is now a normal thing

You must be very immature. If you have never had sex in your life, you have a choice to go fúck yourself.

I can see you don't have a reasonable point to make. Hence, no need for further ado with you.

The bone of contention here is why the commission did what he did, and the need for him to be prosecuted, not for you to be defending "sexual offences". Thou shall not defend rapists o!!
Re: Adesola Melojuekun, Barakat's Father Withdraws Case Against Abudu-Balogun by ThatFairGuy1: 4:53pm On Jan 04, 2021
Why should he withdraw the case? We must get to the root of the matter.

Everything the commissioner built has been ruined already, if you would eventually withdraw the case why making it public in first place

He didn't rape. He's 3 times stronger than the girl. If he wanted to rape he would. Stop alluding everything as rape. Assault maybe, but rape is no freaking way. By the way, the family has said we should die the case. You need to stop masturbating over what is done and dusted and face better things in your life.

Read btw lines.
If truly it was a political manipulation, the honorable won't be quick to respond like he was waiting for it to drop like he did. These politician have people feeding from them, they will stop at nothing to redeem his image, so he can be called back from suspension and also cleanse from the mess.
The gal came out and now the father... I am 99.9% sure he did close to what he was accused of but has settled the parties involved. Threat alone won't make them succumb that fast.
Money will humble you, that honorable may later get that babe on a platter of gold because even her father has been humbled.

Aye o!, the lady must have been pressed to safe the Commissioner's face, or her parents must have been threatened, after all they are none- indigene of Ogun State. But already the fow yansh done open, there is no amount of damage control they employed now that can exonerate our honorable commissioner of the crime .Nigerians are expert in crime cover up, using all forms of avenues, ranges from threat, cash-change hands, and using local baale, chiefs and even Obas to settle the case.
