Are they in intensive or semi intensive?
Feed waste is inevitable in noilers so I just reduced the amount of feed given... Then they will pick the one spilled on the floor
semi intensive

Pls advice me, I bought noiler at four weeks with starter feeding, at what week of their age can I start giving them grower

From when your chicks hatch until six weeks of age, feed your chicks a starter feed that has a protein level of 20-22 percent. Once the chicks hit six weeks of age, feed them pullet grower (14 to 16 percent protein) until age 20 weeks.

I was so passionate about livestock farming especially the breeding aspect and needed to start... I was able to start broilers "the white one" while still running this one.

Am glad its getting interesting
Op, why not concentrate on broilers for meat and the other birds for eggs for now. And see how u grow before going into the other aspect, I think u are too in a hurry which is not good. Pls take one step at time, since u have other job at hand. I wish u luck.

If you are interested, go check it. If you are not, it is fine. And check online for 176 to 180 eggs capacity cost. That is what I want to give you. And we discuss the price you will take it. Then, go consult a solar energy expert the cost of powering it off grid. After, you return and we can discuss a cheaper template. Bro, I am tired of making myself too available for people. Go and make research of the prices first. But I know the best offer is around the table, but it's not going to wait too long for you. If I change my mind, not giving out again, that's it. And I dont know the kind of system they can build for you in Nigeria. You have said it. You will either be turning the eggs every 4 hours, or they ask you use gen to power it. But what you need is an off grid system. And I am sure that with the Capacity....you cannot get it elsewhere cos na dash a wan dash. That's all I have to say. If you want to see it, go and check it out. If its price you want to be discussing here, good luck!

At last I settled with paying #100 per egg instead of purchasing the incubator.
Out of 11eggs I took to a commercial incubator, 7 healthy chicks were hatched which been sold already.

I've also dewormed the birds while giving them multivitamin...

Thanks. I got one though a bit faraway. Took his number said one egg cost 120 to hatch and must not be over 10 days after they were layed.

That's the nature of the business... My side is #100 per egg

Noilers?? angry Well, noiler is a good one but for the male to female ratio which is a very big issue for me. C'mon, my last breeding was terrible; 19 Males to 31 Females.

Then you should have equalized it by taken or selling of some males

Do you find it lucrative and promising for new farmers?

Noilers ❌❌❌
Broilers: depends on you but personally, I feel the risk outweighs the profit at the moment. This is because buyers are not ready to buy at farmer's price thereby making the farmer to sell at little or no gain.
