for the life was manifested , and we have seen it , and bear witness ,and show unto you that eternal life , which was with the father and was manifested unto us . 1 john 1=2

everlasting life is the kind of life that is eternal and endless. that is the life that only God had before Jesus came into the world . it is the immortality of God , a nature of the heavenly beings ,which are angels as God gave them .Jesus Christ came to this world to manifest this kind of life .
this is the life that God gave to the believer through our Lord Jesus Christ .Jesus christ of nazareth came to take the place of our death, and he gave us the everlasting life of God.Jesus told us that there is one kind of

meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the son of man shall give unto you. john 6=27

Jesus actually said that he is the bread of God that giveth life . this is the life of God ,that only God gives through Christ .
for the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven and giveth life unto the world. john 6 =33

Jesus christ as the bread of life is given to the whole world, as the bread of life that comes from God alone .
if we believe in christ we receive this everlasting life which continues to eternity.

and this is the will of him that sent me , that every one which seeth the son , and believeth on him ,may have everlasting life , and i will raise him up at the last day . john 6=40

this is the more reason the scriptures confirm that jesus christ has abolished death.

but is now made manifest by the appearing of our saviour Jesus Christ ,who hath abolished death ,and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel .2timothy 1=10

this everlasting life is for those who believe in christ jesus and accept the authority of Gods word over their life.the word of God says they shall reign in life through Jesus Christ . romans 5=17


Jesus Christ defeated the power of death on the cross of calvary.

have this mind set that you are called of God and anointed with favour . once Christ dwells in you , everlasting life is your portion .
