Until they come up with a definitive map, no region in this country is ready to seccede. You just can't drag in a tribe and region into your agenda without their notice and then tell the world you want to start a country. [quote author=Racoon post=98049136][s][/s]
People have the right to assert the self independence if they are not comfortable with a union.Even in families, not everyone agrees with decisions made on your behalf.
Northern & Western Nigeria wanted to secede from the Nigerian entity until Britain & America counselled them against it because they will benefit more from a fraud-ulent unified Nigeria. Now, 60years thereafter see where we are.

The former USSR, Yugoslavia-Serbia, Sudan/South Sudan etc are some examples to tel you that unity is not by force.Britain today have left the EU.Unity is not by force hence you can force people into a union they are not interested in because “Unity without verity, is no better than conspiracy.”

Where is the topic about killings?

Did they Igbos complain that 3 million children and women where killed by blockade?

You are too slow.

The question is that they region is still being treated as if the war was on.

You need to be able to comprehend a simple essay.
The treatment will continue until Igbos apologies for invading and Killing innocent Niger Deltans. No wounds can be healed until those at fault apologies.

Abuja is not a state. Can you compare the International airport in Jos or Maiduguri to that of the one in Lagos or PH?

You Igbos danced and danced when GEJ was commissioning this projects... Now, you are downgrading a project you were all saying would make the international airport in Lagos collapse grin

Igbos should have face the Northern soldiers alone showing them pepper in Enugu. They invaded Bendel state, and even commited genocide against the Binis, ijaws, urohobo etc.

When Igbos were been killed in the North, Igbos were also killing northerners in Igbo land

The Jews has autonomy...The East is asking for autonomy so they can be like the Jews.

All the Igbos got today are mainly by self help while others are enjoying federal presence.

Again mention one functional airport in the East?

But you know very well the east is capable of building standard airport if it has autonomy.

They can't build a rail system if they are under this oppressive unity government.
Who gave the Jews autonomy? Go look up their history in Palestine in the 18th and 19th century. They saw hell in the hands of Arabs, coupled with what Hitler did to them in Europe. But these men and women stopped complaining, picked up their pieces and subtly and trickishly got the country they want and today, are in charge of not just arabs affairs but the whole world's. The Igbos should emulate them. With proper cordination, you can get not just biafra but the whole country.

They were supported by the world powers, especially Britain.

But that's a story for another day.

Shut the Bleep up!

Which country? Is Nigeria a country? Nigeria is a nation within nation, people were brought together against their consent and will and u are saying they should never demand their right when they no longer feel at ease.

Which country or nation won't put session clause in it's constitution? U think people are happy in this contraption called Nigeria? No! Whether now or later the end will surely come
BabaOwen:
It has been healed.
Nigeria didn't do any bad thing against the Biafrans.

There is no country in the world were someone will just rise and say he is taking is region/people out of the country the way ojukwu did, and it won't lead to war.

When Ironsi was the head of state of Nigeria, Isaac Adaka Boro decided his people are been marginalise in the Eastern region, so he declared the Niger Delta region as an independent country.

War was declared on Boro and his men by Maj. Gen. Ironsi. Col. Ojukwu should have learnt from Boro ordeal.
