Imagine if yerobbers could come out boldly and support Igbo presidency in the spirit of equity and fairness?
The hausa/Fulani power mongers will know that the south has finally united and it is game up.
But their greed and backstabbing nature, coupled with the factor of Islam will never allow them think clearly.
Nonsense. You don't need the support of afonja betrayals to become the president, okay? The Yorubas are neither for or against your presidency, as matter of fact, we bloody don't care about anything that concerns y'll. Meet with your ss neighbours, let them support you, after all, Yorubas are not your neighbours friends or partners over anything for that matter. Leave us be.

AchalugoNwa:
this one na typical see finish.

make no mistake Yorubas are much brave as igbos but their weaknesses and bane is religion
you guys are much polarized religiously that some people's loyalty lies with north more than the Yoruba nation.
the Fulanis know this hence they never see you guys as threats because they know when things start getting bad there must be a saboteur in the midst.

take a look at endsars protest
they just gather some few Yorubas loyal to the Northerners to discredit everything both online and offline.
they later shift everything to the Igbos due to their role in the protest but every tribe protested and it was even worse in Edo.
but what happened igbos later carried the blame. some of your people twisted everything saying that Igbos deliberately wanted to destroy Lagos and SW forgetting that there was damages everywhere.
Falz and many Yoruba celebrities protested but who took the blame finally?
it was an Igbo girl DJ switch.
and same your people who are loyal to the north twisted the whole thing all because of the cocaine boss phantom presidential ambition.

ok coming to this fulani stuff, thank God igbos stayed away if not they would have twisted the whole thing, I mean your people would have turned it against igbos.
Igboho is a hero for any sane real Omoluwabi and we Igbos admire him so much but majority of those sabotaging him are Yorubas and most of them are Tinubu's urchins.
make your research even here on Nairaland.
they have one thing in common
99% are Muslims
they're all Tinubu's urchins
they're all loyal to the north.

So Shettima knows what he's saying because he knew that an average Yoruba man can be bought easily soo cheap and it takes nothing to put confusion in their midst.

Lmao. Typical yanmurin people, playing the religious card as usual. The Yorubas don't give a flying phuck about what you people think about us, let religion be our weak link, at least it doesn't affect you people in any way, does it? Mind u, we Yorubas don't need you to admire Igboho, OK? Go and admire your kanilu, let Yorubas admire theirs. Let Yoruba sabotage themselves, it's none of your business in your region, you people should squarely face your region, let Yorubas decide for themselves, after we ain't your friends or partners or any fuccking thing whatsoever.

The Yorubas are very courageous people. Most of the foremost political activists in Nigeria were/are Yorubas. The Egba women resisted the British colonial government in the 1900s. In fact, during one of the resistance, they killed an European trading agent and a high ranking Egba chief. We should not also forget the bravery of the Agbekoyas in confronting the military in the 60s. The Yoruba elders are some of the finest in Nigeria, except for some few just like we have in every community.

Unfortunately, the Yoruba youths of today lack proper judgment and foresight. They find it difficult to understand and properly decode events around them. For example, there was a misunderstanding between the settlers and the Yoruba in Yewa LGA. The Fulanis went and called members of the Nigerian army at Alamala. They came and started beating up the natives and their Baales. The youths failed to understand what they saw. They did not understand that the occupation of the SW in 60s shortly before the Nigerian civil war is still still on. They did not understand that the barracks nearby are actually Fulani garrisons to protect the herders and their families and Northern interest. Go to Lagos Island, the properties abandoned by the FGN when they moved to Abuja in 1991 is been occupied by Fulanis shoemakers and meruwa with the army still protecting the properties.

I truly pity the young Yoruba agri-prenuers who bought into the FGN Fulani agric revolution. They cant go to their farms. I know one that invested close to 50Million and wanted to hire me as her farm manager. Today, the investment is gone due to the activities of herdsmen. Even if a Yoruba man becomes president today, the fact that the institution of governance is firmly in the hands of these foreigners will not change anything.
