TUBERCULOSIS is a serious infection of the lungs that is caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (MTB) in which there is swellings on the lungs and other parts of the body. Tuberculosis can be transmitted from one person to another.

√ Cough.
√ Fever.
√ Coughing up blood stained sputum.
√ Loss of weight.
√ Rapid heart beat, et cetra.

COMPLICATIONS
Untreated tuberculosis can lead to:
√ Joint damage.
√ Spinal pain.
√ Liver or kidney damage.
√ Heart problems.
√ Inflammation of the membranes that cover the brain.
