Nigeria was created to arrest the progress of Africa, whenever there is a clamor for better political change anywhere in Africa,the West will use Nigeria to bully the Congos,malis,liberias, Sierra Leones of Africa.

While I don't want to speak for all polticans, one of Obasanjo's kids was injured fighting against Boko Haram some years ago...he was serving in the millitary then.

Plus, the Army is a volunteer army. If you want the son of your average poltican to fight at the front, then get your government to pass a law mandating that every male youth in Nigeria on graduating from the secondary school should be drafted into the Army to serve for a period of two years, before going to university.
