That could be the reason why Owerri took 99% of government institutions that prop up development in Imo state for only Owerri in present Imo state; thus why Owerri is the only developing town in Imo state since present Imo state came to be.
It’s hard to find an Owerri person who is not happy with one Nigeria because nearly every federal allocations of all the local government areas in Imo state end up in development of Owerri.
