I have made my girlfriend pregnant. We dated 2+ yrs, we like each other very much but not in position to marry. Neither have told our parents yet bcus we fear them. I grew up outside Nigeria so idk all the customs.. i don't want child outside wedlock. parents never talk about these things so i dont know if they will rush to arrange wedding fast or reject me for this. Please I don't care if they reject me but i am worried for my girlfriend and her family reaction. will they throw her out? I know I can live in my birthplace . I don't know if I can take her with me. I don't know any unwed couple with children in Nigeria but there are plenty couples abroad. I fear because i don't know the expectations of parents, no one talks about such matter. i don't know if her parents will accept me because i made her pregnant. please I love her still, I will appreciate any advise and insight...  |

Marriage is for two adult and not for two different parents...U need to inform both parents first before you consider taking any meaningful step. since the lady in question is already pregnant, they don't have any option than to give both of you their blessings......Be a man and speak out, u are no longer a boy but an expectant father..... that's the problem nowadays with most people- " shoot first then ask questions last " - who cares what society or people think u need nothing from none of them - stop seeking approval from parents or society in general - for sum1 who stays abroad and dont know abt contraceptives or even better -Disectomy (o) - Do the right thing ' - be a man -- take the bull by the horns so to say - why not start a family - marry ,settle -down and if anybody out there has a problem with that ( make dey hug transformer) |
