Edo is also struggling. Ekiti is living up 2 its expectatns. I fear 4 naija if we r stil voting along tribal lines. Those abokis dey vex o. |

Does Buhari even have a facebook page? At least GEJ does have a facebook page. Not that having a facebook page is material to being a good president, but it does indicate that GEJ is willing to embrace new ideas and technologies, which is reflecting in his embracing privatization. Buhari is old stock and used meat. He would not embrace any new ideas, especially anything deemed western and anti-Islam. Vote for GEJ. Vote for a new era, not recycled meat. |

This presidential election is very different, in that youths heavily invested their time and energy to enthrone a leader that would bring the much needed change that has eluded us for long due to lack of accountability and good governance on the part of our leaders. God bless my country. |

fxtopedia: Guy I stay abroad and I have been following the election on Channel TV since morning. The figure you gave for the polling center where GEJ voted is incorrect. I saw the count on Channel Tv total vote counted was 434( including the 11 invalid vote, though they all voted for GEJ) . Please cross check you source again. |

Welldone guys, by next term we should have matured to conducting elections for those in diaspora otherwise, me I go leave yankeey come register for vote oooo!!!!, I'm sad I'm not able to participate . Please guys keep the result coming. For those wondering if we still vote along regional, religious or tribal lines, that's not surprising, given that our new democratic revolution is just evolving, it will take a few years and some work to convince people to vote for people with certain track records rather than the sentimental way we approach elections now, we will certainly get there, for instance a few years ago, who would have thought a minority Goodluck Jonathan would even be mentioned in presidential election but from what I'm hearing He's probably the man to beat in this election as opposition don't look so strong to win or garner enough votes to dethrone PDP. |
Re: Presidential Election, 16th April, 2011 by ahamdiheme: 7:42pm On Apr 16, 2011 |
Results feed: http://elombah.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6250%3Alive-updates-nigeria-presidential-election&catid=78%3A2011-nigeria-decides It is unfortunate that Nigerians are still voting tribe/religion. These results speak, looks like CPC is sweeping the north with a much higher margin that PDP is the south |
