I am a silent member of this forum, please kindly advise me on the best way to tackle my interview for fi student visa in the us embassy. I am 44 years old family man, I have worked for 17 years in the building and civil engineering industry and I am still working. I was admitted for a PhD programme in Malaysia. Having successfully finished my candidacy stage, I returned home -Nigeria, but I could not continue with the programme shortly before the covid 19 pandemic due to some family related issues. Now I have an admit in one of the us public school but this time around a master programme and I am passionate about it owing to the sustainability content of its research work. How best can I talk about this Phd programme such that the VO will be convinced of my genuine intention without any jeopardy to my visa interview?. I am self funded, with properties in Lagos. I already have a master degree in another branch of my profession though but the proposed master has relevance to my work experience and research interest. Thank you experts in the house.
