Goodluck Jonathan I thank Nigerians for coming out to vote. Of major importance however, is peace. Very little can be done in an atmosphere of strife. There is need to allow the rule of law operate unhindered, to stop pointing fingers at each other and point instead in the direction of progress. We need to begin with the end in mind and start from our family, then our community and make peace and then peace will make progress. GEJ. |

@my pu(25) in maryland, lagos.wasimi sec sch. Votin was peaceful. Most ppl who were 4 pdp last saturday voted brf 2day. Stayd til whn dey were abt 2 count votes. Pdp n Acn agents agreed 2bring in a rented crowd 2 massively vote 4a a popular choice. Money was being shared. I left disgusted. Most ppl ddnt care anyway and dd nt bother 2stay back as in d presidential election since it was 4lagosian choice- eko oni baje! I am ok 2. Bt i think dis are loopholes 4 corruption n fraud in d system dt must b nipped in d bud n not allowed 2degenerate further. If care is nt taken, esp whn it is goin 2 a keen contest, situation like dis can generate violence and mar credibility of d process. I think, we here on NL, Naijerians and INEC must look into dis lapses now, profer and correct dem b4 d nxt elections 4our collective peace n safèty's sake. |
