This is hypocrisy of the highest order.

They control their lands as they will, collect VAT from the sales of the same alcoholic drinks but insist the Southerners must not control their own land insisting on open grazing even after laws have been made against it.

How do you judge a case where a business man selling drinks go to court against hisbah that destroyed his legal business within the Nigeria constitution

The court would rule in favour of the business man, hisbah would get no repercussions or fine the next day they do the same to the business man based on the Sharia order it received

Yet this hisbah is criminal and not legalized by the Nigeria constitution


Why don't we split this country as we have conflict of laws already where Sharia law that is guided by fanatics and sentiment can never come under the Nigeria federal laws

Malami advocates for the right of herdsmen to do their business wherever they want but people who sell alcoholic beverage do not have the right to do their legitimte business. So much hypocrisy and injustice in nigeria. A country with this high level of injustice would find it difficult to survive

What the southern governors can do is quickly pass the ban of open grazing into law in there respective states and give power to citizens not only police or Amoteku or Abubeagu but to the whole citizens of their respective states to kill any cow being seen openly. Thats the best thing to make this open grazing ban come to effect. Cus when u leave it to only police it won't have any positive effect.

Now southern governors banned open grazing, disallowing herders to use their cows to destroy farmers plants. This banned on open grazing is for the interest of southern people.

Alcohol is sold in the south and VAT is generated from its sale which is shared across board, if those clowns up North were serious, they'd ask to know how much is the proceeds (VAT) from alcohol sales and reject such funds asking the FG to share it only among Southern states but no, they struggle for every penny yet they won't let such business thrive in their zone...

These people are hypocrites...You go up North and rent shops to do your business and lease land to farm but they rather come down South and graze openly with their cattles in the processing destroying crops and alienating their host. Why can't they lease a piece of land, keep their cattles they and go source for grass or whatever it is they need?

You're quite senseless, is anyone forced to drink beer? Is it given free of charge?

People hustle money and go buy beer yet you rather blame the seller...Is beer prohibited in Nigeria? Or you guys reserve the right to ban the sale of beer whilst shamefully getting proceeds of VAT charged on the same beer in the South.

If you guys can ban the sale of beer and are going about destroying trailer loads of supplies, why can't Southern Governors ban open grazing without your empty headed leaders crying foul?
