Please if you have such spec, what games have you been able to play with it on a decent fps

Nba 2k 18 downwards..... Basically most games from 2018 downwards, your baby can handle it at medium to high settings. She can also handle some games from 2018 above, just that you must be willing to compromise. Also make sure you've got at least 8gb of Ram.

Oga I no day talk hear say. I ran watchdogs 2 on 1gb vram hd 7570 to be precise, I got 12-18 fps throughout the game & secondly just reduce the graphics, you'd run the game.

For Witcher 3 I ran it on on the same graphics card with 6gb ram. Fps was 12-15...

You can go to that same YouTube and Google watchdogs 2 on 1gb vram 7470m to be precise ( though mine is 7570m)

And Witcher 3 on 1gb vram 7470m, after that come back & eat your words.

If my low end graphics card can handle such games, then the Nvidea Gtx840M would do well on the afformentioed games. Besides the prefix Gtx is exclusively meant for gaming .

A little bit of tweaking can get you more fps. LowSpecGamer is a god in that aspect.

Note both games ran on a low end AMD graphics card of 1gb vram. How do you think his mid range 2gb vram graphics card would fair

You actually call 15fps playable Sorry to busy your bubble but anything less than 30fps is unstable although I can still manage 25-28fps but in most games 30fps is the minimum while some games are actually locked at 60fps once your card can't render it at 30 or 60 then forget it by the way I just checked YouTube and its still not running smoothly. Just safe yourself the stress and get yourself WITCHER 2

I honestly thought I had problems with my eyes some guys have time dilation abilities that's probably why they can game at 7-20fps I couldn't play "Ryse son of rome"even though I was getting above 25fps

I just noticed he also added all tomb raider series to the list of playable games[center][/center] rise of the tomb raider will work perfectly at low-medium but shadow of the tomb raider won't render properly it will have visual artefacts and black blots on the screen then it will lag horribly even on the lowest settings.

C'mon there are configuration files & videos online that'll help you surmount this challenge & believe you me, they work a 100%. We all know a Ferrari is a million times better than a Camry Spider, but both of em serves the same purpose, which is to get one to their destination .

your spider and Ferrari example is good, but unfortunately in the context, it doesn't. That you have a 840m and someone has an RTx 2060, both can't achieve same purpose at all, because the RTx will play even future games while the other can play same game even at 1fps.

I also tweak games but even with tweaks you can't play most games for example games that require a Gtx460 or Gtx560 are playable on the Gt840m with a few tweaks but if it requires a gtx660 or above then forget it.

I installed gta 5, pess 17 and call of duty modern combat 4, and the all play at 60-70 fps. So I'm happy for the performance.
However, the laptop heats up. Would that not kill the laptop?

Between 80 to 105 Celsius. I used Msi to check this. Is that bad for my pC ?

Well I think it not that bad, but for me, 80-90 is the threshold I'd consider ok & safe. If you notice that the laptop is extremely hot when gaming, save your game, Switch off & let it cool off.

Also when you crank up your in game settings to the maximum it tends to get pretty hot. So just try and lower your in-game settings a bit. It's better you play at medium to low than play at high or ultra & damage your PC.

Finally get an external fan.
