This is a good idea. It will eradicate elephant projects. The citizens are sure taxes are judiciously use. Projects will be completed on time. Contractors will no longer wait for buget to get to work. So many advantages. A Antoeni: 3 Likes |

As usual, non in the South East that has the worst of roads in the whole country,.... No other ministry has been too forward in refusing projects in the South East than fasholas ministry of works! Not saying this expecting anything to change. Just saying so because it surely will be useful in the future.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

AlexBells: The arrangement is mutually beneficial to both Parties, i.e Nigeria and Dangote, not the businessman alone. This is the way forward because Nigeria is simply not rich enough to finance her own infrastructural development. The private sector is needed to provide fundings. The Government can then package attractive incentives to secure their participation. |

funkekemi: We do not bloody revolution more than we need a revolution of robust education that will teach people like you how to think critically and understand issues enough to be able to take charge of your own destiny through active participation in instruments of governance. That way you will not be mindless tools and self-destructive cannon fodders in the hands of the Shekaus and Kanus of the world. You don't even understand the topic, and the good development it actually reveals, and you're talking of a bloody revolution like a bloodthirsty illiterate vampire and cultist tout. The real revolution should involve reorientation of how most Nigerian youths think and filling their minds with useful knowledge that will aid solution provision |

Mayng01: Who else has the money and willingness to do what Dangote is doing? Hate people if you want but never let that blind you to the facts and realities in front of you. Do you not live in Nigeria where some neighborhoods have plush mansions belonging to many wealthy individuals yet they can never come together proactively to improve the deplorable road network leading to their very expensive homes? Many businessmen and industrialist can do what Dangote is doing because government will not and cannot reject them. Yet the fact is that many are simply not interested. We should always see the big picture if we want progress. |
