Those who work salry job make 5k easily everyday from tips. They don't even touch their salary. Too much rich people and money in Nigeria. The circulation is getting to everyone thats while within 8months of working in Nigeria you can start building your own house. Something that takes over 50yrs for a middle class America, that's why they all die in debt while Nigerians leave at least three properties to be inherited. The children inherting those properties add 10 more to it. Up Nigeria!!!

That's the issue, Nigerians have value to offer but the reality shows that at the end of the day you are more likely to be a nobody, even if your shine show you would still turn back and see the chaos in the country only to be left heartbroken.

Exactly. No one sees your value here in Nigeria

narrow minded state of mind from people who only care about their own pockets... whether abroad or in Nigeria, people should look for their happiness wherever they desire, and so long as they aint doing anything wrong/illegal or against the law to care for their family, these fake men of god should be happy for these people instead of looking down on them.you got him wrong Sir, the point he was raising is "you can be in Nigeria and still fulfil your destiny" and mind you he also has members in the so called foreign country so do not think he was saying that to have enough member

The Peace, freedom, Security, health care and Electricity, the Environment that you're enjoying in Abroad you can't compare to Nigeria. We know there is not easy to live in abroad, but are we safe living in Nigeria? In Nigeria as you're walking on the road, you can die by any means, through car, straight bullets, and Kidnapper, or Accident. Even if you have money, you can enjoy your money in peace, either envy from friends or relatives. Pls just Google the Average life expectancy ratio of Nigeria or Africa and compare to America or Europe? Nigeria is not safe to live, the country is only good for reunion. Do you think our leaders don't know what to do? They do because they are the one sponsoring all this. Even with our resources, and we can't put CCTV camera everywhere to boost the Security situation and Encourage State police. Bro Nigeria will never better as far as we keep recycling the same set of people who destroy Nigeria as Leaders. For me, the only Solution to this problem is to divide the country, the Country too big.We know nothing like home but our leaders no get plan for anybody.

Eriokanmi:
I'm on oyedepo's side on this. I took same bold step but never regretted it. I'm an embodiment of God's favour and grace. Shebi we go the America sef, but I chose to return home after my program. I don't know if the highest earning Nigerian living overseas can match me in revenues monthly. I give them money each time I go America. Ordinary 100 dollar is like giving them millions. I had shared stories of my life and that of my uncle who used to work at Walmart in the past as stores officer. He shunned the flashy lifestyles over there and came back home, to introduce a solar inverter manufactured by trace engineering, USA which later became Xantrex. His friends booed him, they said village people had come calling, that he's been bewitched. This man today is a billionaire. He had a major leap in his business when the atm revolution erupted in Nigeria, he became favourite of old generation banks including the CBN for installation of inverters to power all their atms nationwide. Na foreigners like Indians for chop the whole money clean mouth, come pay our graduates employed with peanut.

Nigeria is a land of honey and milk. Na those in government God go punish for discouraging foreign investors from coming in through their selfish ends. Where I've stepped my feet into, none of our the leaders' children had had the opportunity to reach, in their entire life. I've been with Barak Obama, courtesy my profession in DAR Hall( Daughters of American Revolution Hall) near the white House in DC.

Do we have challenges? Yes, we do. Are they surmoutable? Yes they are. Buhari can't be in government forever. If pool comes to shove, we break up and we bear our fathers' names . We can still work together as neighbours in areas where each has a comparative advantage. I have a friend who had his masters and PhD in a university in NC, where he lives. Recently, I saw him posting tokunbo cars on his status for sale...an associate Prof selling used cars...what a life! Back home he'd be an oga in one of our universities where his service would be appreciated.

there's a yoruba addage that says no matter the State of your father's house, you don't point to your father's house with your left hand

No country is perfect, every country has their buts and all manners of nonsense they put up with.for example America is dealing with border crisis,a spike in gun violence, gang violence, violent protests etc but at least they're intentional about fixing the rubbish they created it's not as if they carry their bag and decide to leave. Or do you think any Nigerian is happy with all the chaos that is going on?

My point is if your house is dirty, carry broom and sweep out the dirts.mop out every place where dirt and parasites are likely to hide, empty the thrash and make it clean and attractive such that you will be happy to live in it and others will be happy to join you to live in.when you dirty a house, the next thing is not to abandon it and run to another person's house and beg them that you want to stay there.no matter the exploits you do for them or advancement you do to impress them they'll appreciate you no doubt but it will not change the fact that you're just living in their house but not part of them or their family
Still myopic, why can't I be dissatisfy with my father house and leave the house to hustle and renovate to my taste for them, why do you equate leaving the house to abandoning the house? while you are busy managing the house by sweeping and mopping it (which is good) and your neighbour decide to leave his and source for resources elsewhere to renovate his dad property, what is wrong with that approach? I am not faulting your approach of sweeping and mopping so why do you find an issue with renovating?

Leaving one country doesn't equating abandoning, we have families and love ones back at home.

1987 is different. Just because he's well treated and resepcted as a man of God, doesn't mean we all are in the same cadre..

Can he come out and give people jobs without this same politics we all play under the cover? Even their universities are the most expensive in present day Nigeria, so please let him stay out of lives of people who want a better environment, and life for themselves. God has picked his call, let him not decide for others and let God answer the call of others.

I wish everyone well.

He is right..

but I also think he must look at the quality of living / Human Development Index (HDI).

which is better a millionaire in a place like lagos where u spend 4hrs daily in traffic or a thousandnaira in the place where u spend 30mins in traffic??

At the end its not the money but the quality of life...

Can that person with his millions access good health care, good public facilities etc??

These are some of the reasons why alot prefer to wash plates in Houston than stay in a duplex in Lekki..

Wonder why you are attacking him. He accomplished in Nigeria what he wouldn’t have accomplished in USA. Everybody’s situation/case is different and best to do what works for you. One of my father’s friends became ACCA certified in the mid - 80s. They were less than 10 in Nigeria then but he kept complaining about the problems of Nigeria and relocated to U.K. working one contract job to another. The best he got out of it was a council house which he lived in till he passed on early this year. He insisted on being buried in Nigeria claiming he had suffered too much in the England. Know what you have and do what works for you.

Bro this is one of my worst nightmares, hustling in the UK like I am better off then after many years i realise, i was just paying bills and tax in another mans country for absolutely no reason. No one knows how future Nigeria is going to be, but i have a feeling Nigeria will never get better. Like just how the old people in 1980 kept complaining, those in 2021 too complaining , those in 2040 too will just about complain about how expensive things are.

But i think having one leg in Nigeria and one leg outside Nigeria is just about the best. Look at the real estate situation in lekki right now. They no even born anyone doing menial jobs outside Nigeria to afford it but it is still being bought by both those at home and abroad who have extremely good wealth.

Wishing everyone the best in thier hustle ooo

Everyone is not destined for the same part . And it’s a personal decision to choose if you want to relocate or not , the main purpose of why people
Relocate is because of better life and brighter future for thier children , which Nigeria has refused to give , the Nigeria as at now that there are no good jobs available for graduates , almost all graduates are entrepreneurs because of the poor job rate and bad salary , how can an avaerage youth start a family with 60k salary which is what is most commonly available , When if he relocates abroad and even does security in France he can make about 2k euros per month , there’s job security , free education , good transport , social system everything that Nigerian doesn’t provide for its citizen , Nigeria doesn’t help anybody , no social benefit to make people’s life better , even all the nurses are relocating to uk now because they’re giving then working visa , some of them worked with government hospital earning 75-100k for years

If you want to relocate please do what you feel is best for your life , if you also want to stay in Nigeria an hustle it’s also good . The most important thing is do what you think is best for you .

Then, people were begged to take jobs and there influx of Ghanaians afterwards which birthed Ghana must go later. There were bountiful of jobs then than now. No steady power supply to get oneself self-employed, no good infrastructures to make things work. I ask, why do they travel abroad for medical treatments while others die back home for the same reason. See, the problem of Nigeria is bigger than me to carry on the head like a gala seller. I rather be in a country where infrastructures are readily available for use. The sufferings here and there are not the same. They get levels. The sufferings in a good country can give much money than here. I see people suffering here and it seems endless.
