Hanibbal: I'm sure Professor Pansophist has a perfect postulation for this phenomenon. Something about the redspel being spread and guys waking up and coming into their own, after going on underground trainings for years, because allegedly, the forum has had its feminist/pro-women and anti-men era or something like that. So Nairaland is experiencing some kind of rebirth and forging through the fire, with gender wars and resistance, to produce a civilization of... shit. Wo. Na him/them know, jare. It's sha sontin like that. 1 Like |

Reddit male to female ratio is 23/12 in USA alone, quora is 57/43, youtube 56/44, so why do you think it would be different for nairaland? Generally women are agreeable, conflict avoidant and an integrationist, compare to men that are isolationist, disagreeable, with a potentiality for conflict. A simple proof to this is that most prisoners are men. Forums are places where you must be tough, with your perspective shakened, and women compare to men, are less likely to accommodate that. Now tell me which gender is more likely to be soft, and won't want their fantasy threatened. I've discussed with lots of women on this forum that instead of counter my points, they begin insulting. Being right is more important than being correct. On nairaland and other anonymous forums, no one will call you plus-size, curvy, big bone, large woman, and other sugary coatings, but fat. No one will call you diva, useless you're actually a beautiful diva. Your argument and brain will take you far, not your looks. Lots of tough women are here, doing fine, and it's because they are tough, something that doesn't comes natural to women. Now compare the gender ratio to non confronting platforms like Instagram and Facebook, where your beauty will take you far than your sense, then there are more female than male. The gender disparity on this platforms is very telling about the differences between men and women. So no, it's not because men chased them off, but because if you can't stand the heat, you get the fork out of the kitchen. I can't stand the heat on Instagram and Facebook either, that is why I forked out. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Females hardly give comments without getting attacked front & back. I'm not left out amongst the attackers but we applaud the sensible ones, too. I attack feminists only. 1 Like |

They get called out on their bullshit here. No holds barred! Very few males (except the simps!) are willing to suck up to them for approval, so it's easier to be on social sites, get tons of Likes and flattering comments to massage their ego. Though we guys can overdo things with caustic comments, but we still regard the intelligent females here. This kitchen is always hot and they can't stand the heat. |
