2014 during my service year in Kwara state, my effervescent neighbor a single mother of two served me a fish pepper soup delicacy one Saturday morning... Before giving me the delicacy I noticed her teenage daughter telling her not to serve me with that but the woman went ahead and even said "corper don't mind this children"..... After enjoying the delicacy, I thanked the woman thereafter I enquired which fish is that! I have not tasted this kind of fish before. She said it's not a fish that it's a "snake" that all of us just enjoyed snake pepper soup delicacy... Omoh shift mek I faint! That was the first and the last time I ate snake. Yes, when I was in Uniport, there's dis meat seller dat do come to Amino Kano's hostel n d meat is usually #20 n very big n I do enjoy it a lot but never knew it wasn't cow meat. It was after graduation I got to know n I was only smiling bcoz I enjoyed dat meat. 1 Like |
