First and foremost, the reintroduction of VAT on Imported LPG this August 2021 did not result in a 100% rise in Cooking Gas prices in Nigeria. On the 15th of July, we published an article on Factors affecting cooking gas prices in Nigeria. The post highlighted the reason for high LPG prices ( since 2018) this year.
