Modified for easy read and straight to incident, I've modified to first post. THE MAIN INCIDENT On 8th August 2021 being a Sunday, I received a ride order from a bolt username ATANG trying to call the number, it wasn't through. It was a Ghana number. So a lady called me with another number which True caller showed as "Amina Ibrahim" I concluded she was a northern lady. She tried directing me to her location because the map wasn't taking me anywhere close. After about 40 minutes of trying to locate the place failed, I called her back and asked her to cancel the ride. She begged and asked me to please help that she is very sick and can't talk as she gave one of the ladies with her phone to direct me. After entering different places and too much questions, I located the place. A lady came out to direct me to the house. It was raining and she immediately started telling me how they were robbed in their house and that the sister "Amina " Is supposed to travel to Dubai for a hearth surgery and that it's her wedding in 2 weeks so she came to buy stuffs for the wedding and all the long talk. I was just busy saying eyaaa without much response.. They were 3 ladies, they loaded their Ghana must go bag and ecolac into my truck and said I should take them to a hotel. Orchid hotel asaba I took them there and told her the bill is 10,000 she said ok, her iPhone is off and she need to power it to make me a transfer. Before then, they were communicating in hausa so I was understanding every conversation they were having. I decided to keep my cool as I wasn't interested in any conversation. They were all being friendly and chatty as we moved. She "Amina" Asked if I'm from here I said no and allowed her ask further questions. So she kept asking after she told me she was from kaduna at sabo where she claimed their family house is. She said she lives at abuja where she manages her fathers businesses and properties after her both parents passed on. She went on and on telling me all these, I actually felt piety for her because of the condition I saw her. So asked that I go come back at 2 pm that same day but forward my account details to her so she will do the transfer. I did that and waited and called the whole time before 2pm same day. Her numbers were not reachable, I wasn't bothered though because I was going back. Little did I know I was getting into a bad trap. TBC 4 Likes 1 Share |

Modified CONTD I came back at 2pm same day and waited for them at the reception after I asked the receptionist to call them over the intercome. After about an hour, they came down and asked me to take them to shoprite asaba. I took them there as they started shopping. They entered a cosmetic shop spent about 3 hours, I got angry already but I've concluded to sleep over in the town, so I can stay out perhaps to 8pm. At 6:30pm they left the cosmetic shop to a cloth shop. Now she was coming close to me telling me how her elder brother has 5 kids who are in covenant university, who is a marine in the US and that he sent about 7 million to shop for the kids. So she was just picking anything that she feels will size them. I was actually observing everything, after they finished selecting, the sellers were even tired folding and arranging the cloths. In my mind, I have already made money today. While at the boutique, the sellers from the cosmetic shop came to meet her to tell her they dint get the transfer she made, she said it was going to reflect and when it does, they should call her so she will come pick it. Stuffs worth 2.1million they had already brought down from arrangements. After calculating her purchases at the boutique, total was 1.75 million. She took their account number to make transfer. She said she did but they haven't received yet. I was still trying to understand what sort of spending that is. Along the line, she started telling me how her boy friend is an airforce and all that. That they will be getting married after her heart surgery. I did not realize that all the while the plan was to delay me to stay over with them at the hotel. We got to the hotel at about 8:30 before going to a chemist to get her "injections" Which she uses on herself. Those were not my concern at the time. I left that day when she said her account was having issues and she can't make transfers. I asked her to go to a pos, you know all the whole too much excuses. On a good day, I don't take all those trash stories I just wanted to leave thought. But I wasn't really feeling it's me. I told my few friends about the whole thing, all of them asked me to just leave them, they might be scammers. I can't just say, something just kept me there with the. On 9th August 2021 I came in the morning to pick them and the walking around continued, from where she want to buy laptops for her brothers to iPhone 12 to human hair to gold jeweries, Monday finished. As I was driving them to the hotel, she said she needed to use the pos I took them to a pos joint, at this point, we've already agreed that carrying them around for the whole day will be 50,000 which she agreed. However, I felt the whole stories of all the properties and businesses and the calls she was forming to be receiving made it look real. I was actually a though one to scam.. But I was still feeling something wasn't right. On a good day, I won't talk to you if you don't have money and forming you have. While in the car, the pos guy came and she said she will transfer 600k to him so he will give her cash. He said but he has to go to the bank. Me on the other hand, I want to go home. She pleaded that I should stay at the hotel with them she'll pay for my room. 15,000 a night. After too much talk, I agreed. She just opened her mouth and asked if I had 500,000 let them use the pos withdraw while she does transfer of 600,000 to me. I asked her to go ahead. She did and I saw her debited so I was confident I'll get my money. After 2 hours, I never see money. Before then we headed to a police station at GRA in asaba I was outside while they carried the money inside and came out with a guy who she claimed was her fiance. At that point I started re evaluating my self and how I'm a fool to give out money from my account which wasn't even mine when I've not seen alert. TBC 5 Likes 2 Shares

CNTD Everything happened so fast from Sunday to Friday, I had already parted with 850,000 naira from my account. All these each time she asks me to, pay, I remove my card and the money is taken out. My friend was to Wed on Saturday and I should be at the wedding. Before I left asaba I'd taken them to the hospital. First Delta American hospital asaba where they said she has to undergo surgery as fast and will need a deposit of 50k first. I did pay too. She was making some kind of fake calls either to her accomplices and they keep saying they are coming with cash and all that. She insisted I shouldn't go for the wedding that I should stay back so she'll give me back my money, I said since shel be in for surgery, I'd come back before she leaves. I kick my car, as soon as I entered owerri, my eyes cleared, I was just shouting in my car, how come I was this foolish. Before the night fall, one of the girls called me telling me they can't see Amina again, that she called them telling them that she was hit by a car.. I said ok, it has already downed on me that I have been Hindu winded and scammed. I called and told them I won't be coming back till month end, hoping to leave the next day after the wedding to do my own investigation. I called a police friend to report the matter to him, he shouted but never believed me because he said he don't believe anyone can do this to me. He referee me to a senior police officer at asaba police headquarters where I met him and explained to him. He referee me to the same police station where they used my money to settle to bail her guy. When I explained my odeal, every one there shouted as they start telling me that it was this same issue that kept she and the guy there for 3 weeks and the Uber guy had jazz that was stronger than theirs and that was why he could come to the police... I did everything the police asked me to do and the ipo asked me to pay 50k before anything, I told him please to start as I was already dried. After all begging he said I should go, hell take it from there. I left and concluded he won't do anything. I've been calling her number with different lines, she won't take, the guy sees my status, the other girl I see her status but I hid mine from her. I have contacted network providers and they asked that I should go to DSS and report. I have pictures and videos I took at some points. I know it might look as though it doesn't add up, but this I went through. I have tried paying the money back, it was money sent to me to procure laptops for the former company I worked for. I have purchased and delivered all the pcs but each time I remember this, it breaks my heart that this happened to me. I want to find this Amina particularly. The other girls claimed they were in same situation with me too. She swined them 350k the first Uber guy 750k which she used me to pay. I'll attach images. And numbers. Please anyone who have any idea of how to go about this easily to get them. I will appreciate every piece. 3 Likes 2 Shares
