Few weeks after the visit of the Federal Minister of Works and Housing to Weigh Bridge, Ikorodu, We woke up to this massive demolition today.

Waking up to the demolition of those properties came as a shock though most of the destroyed properties were below a high tension grid and the owners have been given more than enough notice to vacate the environment but to no avail.

The whole area is currently in disarray with the heavy presence of security personnel, property owners wailing due to the millions of properties destroyed and people scampering to get any residue of their properties at the destruction site.

The main question on the lips of many is; Does the gain of the destruction outweigh the pain?
