For those of you willing to pursue a masters programme in Germany, want to believe that you have made up your minds about the programme(s) you would want to apply to as the application process for most universities would soon commence. As for the questions many of you are still seeking answers to, almost everything has been treated in earlier posts especially between February and October. All you need do is find time to go through the thread and be informed. Furthermore you need to know that this is something you can do all by yourself, as it is a pretty straightforward stuff and you do not even need to pay anyone for anything surecan: Just came across this |

Re: German Embassy And Visa by SimplyD(m): 4:37pm On Nov 08, 2012 |
Demaejy: @simply D All I can say is that most (if not all) require sufficient knowledge of German, as it is the primary language of teaching at that level. I can't really say much (specifically) about it, as I presume u want to know about the quality of learning. Generally, the standard is really high, especially if it's a technical course, as there are lots of high tech research going on. surecan: You should go through the requirements again 'cos I want to believe they must have specified their reference scale. That notwithstanding, a G.P. of 3.0 should suffice as it's about equivalent to the same "grade" in the German system. All in all just apply as you have nothing to lose. |

surecan: I've studied in Germany for my Journalism Bachelor's Degree, and I can say it's definitely a great place to study and live too. The the majority of universities offer tuition free education, and the student visa allows you to work while you're studying. The best thing to do is to apply for a scholarship, if you want to have a better time and easier studies. Someone here mentioned http://daad.org which has a lot of information on scholarships that universities offer. I'd also suggest that you read more about studying in Germany and the system there http://www.mawista.com/en/study-in-germany/ . It's much easier to get the student visa if you have a scholarship, especially in heavy fields like engineering or science. Good luck! |
Re: German Embassy And Visa by Nobody: 11:41am On Nov 09, 2012 |
Melvin86:Thanks for your candid info. Actually if someone wants to apply for scholarship in undergraduate level,is it after s/he has gotten admission will definitely make the application? And is DAAD scholarship restricted to some universities or once you've got admitted to any university in Germany, you are eligible to such grants. However, though, have gone through the links u provided but i still need your personal insight please. |

Hi guys. Can anyone verify this website for authencity and genuine stuffs. www.culturaldiplomacy.org. They are known for conferences nd internship. Asked to pay a fee to get invitation and other necessary doc. And pay for postage, transport and accomodation. Please confirm if this is real or a scam. I await your responses. Thanks. |
Re: German Embassy And Visa by Anthonymighty(m): 3:41pm On Nov 09, 2012 |
How true is this site. Have you seen anyone that went to germany through this site successfully? Because I read on google about some interns calling it a scam. Moreso, registering for their conference, is it a guarantee you will get the visa? Tell me after they get the invitation letter to you. What and what again do you have to submit with the invitation to the german embassy? I await your response. suxes2006: This site is good for anyone who wants to go to |

The last time I used this (for a client from nairaland) they sure recognize them at the German embassy then (2yrs ago) So I'm pretty sure they are still a force to reckon with now. BTW, what's your present status? I'll like to give you (and others) some advice about German visa (and even schengen visa). The thing is if you're not up to 35 or married, its hard to get visa these days. Make sure you're extremely convinced on your docus before submitting them. Sheyi |

Because I am about to send money to them on monday and I need to know if to proceed on this or not. Pls help a brother out o. Make I no waste 343 euros o. You are really going to waste that money, you think German embassy is not aware of these websites selling conference IVs? If German embassy calls to verify that conference and it turns out that there is no actual conference taking place you will be banned from entry any Schengen country for presenting misleading info in your application. 2 Likes |

Re: German Embassy And Visa by justwise(m): 12:14pm On Nov 11, 2012 |
jambogini: yes i have a registerd biz at cac. evicdon merchandise ltd Ok, if your friend in German wants to help you then let him help you establish contact with the German part dealer, exchange emails with the dealer, in that email discus about the parts you want to buy, before requesting for invitation letter, these letters will form part of your visa application package. The money you have now is enough but without adequate documentations you will struggle to get a business visa. Do you pay tax from your business? |
Re: German Embassy And Visa by jambogini: 1:19pm On Nov 11, 2012 |
justwise: My company is new and i wont pay tax until 2014 or 13, that was what i was told at CAC |
