1. It may lead to unwanted pregnancy. Many people know this but still won't desist from this shameful act. Ladies should be more careful because they are the party that gets more affected. If it eventually leads to pregnancy and the man denies it, what will you do? Prevention is better than cure.

2. Another reason we should all desist from premarital s_x is because it causes STDs. If you have too much partners, you don't know the one who is infected. Many people have been victims of STDs due to this. Abstinence from intimacy is usually the best option.

3. Having s_x before marriage will eventually affect your marriage. Many people complain that their partner is not good enough. This is because they have slept with many people. Their choice is high, they now complain that their partner is not good enough. Having too much body count tend to attend people's marriage especially women.

4. Sometimes, you get emotionally attached to your partner and they don't feel the same. This is the reason many ladies stay in abusive Relationships. They became emotionally attached to the person and he's taking advantage of them. This is very common to virgins, they get emotionally attached to the first person they opened up too. In the long run, the person might not see them as someone he can marry.

5. He might lose interest in you after he has gotten what he wanted. The reason many guys are in relationships today is because they want to have intimacy with the lady. The moment the lady succumbs, they start to ignore her and look for a way to leave the relationship.

Like they say, a word is enough for a wise. It's high time we curbed this bad practise that has become a norm among our youths.
